Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific

Saw South Pacific on what was the final performance at Sadlers Wells yesterday. Wonderful staging and outstanding performances from all the cast but especially Julian Ovenden - what a voice!! First time booking with Headout but wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

I thought the two male and one female leads were great and their voices amazing. Loved the scenery and set change. Thought Bloody Mary had a lovely voice, but just wasn't strong enough. Also Luther Billis wasn't comedic enough, especially in honey bun. And can you ask the male chorus to be not quite so light on their feet, they need butching up! Emily de Becque's voice was spellbinding. Wish someone would kiss me the way he kissed Nellie!

Just loved this musical - a famous song every few minutes. Such a strong message too.

- It was far too hot in the theatre which made it a little unconfortable - The show wasn't as 'good' as others we've seen recently (wasn't bad at all), just different strokes for different folks

It was amazing! We're right next to the stage! The cast were so good and the staff were very friendly
