visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine and it was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. The place itself is impressive, and it’s hard to believe that what we see is only about 1% of the entire mine. Our guide was very good and made the tour engaging. She didn’t just explain things, but also asked us questions and involved us, which made the visit more fun and interactive. We also had the chance to taste the famous salt from the mine, real salt, and surprisingly very good! It was a nice and curious moment that added something special to the tour. Even though there are many stairs going down, the experience is absolutely worth it. It was a beautiful excursion and I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It was very enjoyable. The tour guide was very informative but also made a few jokes. The mines themselves were a lovely sight and the stories for everything was interesting. It was surprising finding the largest underground chapel and a banquet hall for weddings down there, but its really beautiful. A lot of salt, so I wasn't disappointed. They also have a food court in the mines at the end of the tour, so if you want to eat in the mines,it is possible. The food was okay though in my opinion, a lot of nice options around the mines.

This tour exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The pickup was smooth, and our driver, Łukasz from Hello Cracow, was exceptionally friendly and shared fascinating insights about Krakow during the ride. The Wieliczka Salt Mines, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, were truly impressive and a must-see. The entire experience was well-organized and seamless.

Everything went smoothly: From the pickup point at the hotel to the end of the visit. The expert Italian guide lead us through the cave, providing a lot of funny details and interesting facts. The whole visit was less than 2 hours, but time flew. The driver was also excellent and on time. I'll recommend this.

Wow,just wow. The whole experience was fantastic. Well organised, knowledgeable guide( excellent English and so proud of her towns history). A good, brisk tour, she crammed a lot of information in and the time flew. Truly spectacular chapels and visuals( was so impressed with the statue of Pope John Paul II). Would recommend to anyone though legs were sore the next day but well worth it and one of the highlights of our stay in Krakow.

Beautiful experience, a fascinating place full of history, when you go down into the depths your thoughts go to the miners who with their heavy work left a priceless heritage, the sculptures are wonderful, the majestic chapel is something unique. I had been told from many people to make sure I visited the Salt Mines when I finally visited Kraków. I was not disappointed. It was an awesome experience from start to finish and our guide was very informative and funny as she told the story of the mines and the miners.

Just huge halls at this depth... Structures made of beams, anchors and salt itself... Statues and monuments made of salt, altars, church... There are a lot of impressions. And all this was created over centuries. +1:

The day was a bit cold and raining but inside the mine it was perfect. The healing air was rich in both minerals and history. Very enjoyable day trip while in Krakow, highly recommended.

Pre booked Skip the line tickets are an excellent way to save time and the hassle of queuing. We travelled to Wieliska by train from Krakov, frequent electric trains, cheap tickets and the train terminates at Wieliska. Pleasant little town for a wander and coffee in a square! The mine is close by and the tour was bery well organised. There is a lot of walking down stairs at the start and a good walk inside. The tunnels are incredible and open out into huge chambers in which there are churches! Return to the surface is by lift! An excellent experience, very informative and well worth a visit!

The Wieliczka Salt Mine guided tour was amazing. You realise just how intelligent and innovative our ancestors are to be to contruct something that has stud the test of time. the sculptures and the chapels were beautiful. I loved there were places to sit down during most of the tour, it would have been better to have the rest places on the long walk to the lift too.

Very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Great ease in ordering the ticket online. Despite being late for our session we were still able to see the Mines with a wonderful guide lady who was very entertaining but also told very interesting facts about the Mines. People were vey helpful, the saltvmine is realy with to see. Unfortunately there was a chaos in communication from Headout about update of time and pickup place. I recomend to Headout not to use the chatbots at support.

The visit of the Wieliczka salt mines is an absolutely unmissable experience if you are near Krakow. You can quietly arrive with your car by parking a few steps from the entrance. Many public transport also connect the city to the site. Access is regulated by queues divided by language and type of visit (guided in groups or privately with guide assigned every about 40 people). A long staircase of over 300 steps descends and you are guided in a long route which is actually only a small part of the tunnels dug in the subsoil (about 10%). But it is a very long excursion, over 1 hour passing through tunnels and caves, still descending deeply. The guide assigned to us was very nice and funny and spoke very understandable English for non -mother language. I recommend booking in advance because, especially in summer, the turnout is really high, talking of over 10,000 people per day visiting the mines. Some points spectacular, the cathedral of salt (a real consecrated church, dug in the rock and containing artistic works obtained in the salt). The internal lake is beautiful, and incredible is to see the salt sprout from the rock, being able to scratch it and taste it. We had a lot of fun and it was an unforgettable experience.

Salt mines is a must see. Amazing 12th century mine to visit. I'm in awe of the size of the underground cave. Guide was very informative and courteous while touring the mine. Lots of modern exhibit carved out of stones. Hope we got to see more of older part of the cave. Operator was great, courteous and professional and was very kind to wait for us, we got lost down exiting the mines.
