Carcassonne Castle & Ramparts Tickets

Easy and convenient to use. Did you give Awesome because the app did not work, but the email with the tickets did so everything went well.

Pretty cool to get to walk around the castle and then the ramparts. Amazing view to the Pyrénées. The scale model was amazing. The linear audio guide was at times confusing, with lots of directions to remember (example, go to the end of the corridor, and down the stairs, then turn left, and when you get to the end press play).

I thought I had to exchange the tickets at the castle, but the tickets were just fine with no need to wait in line.

When we arrived there was a lot of people waiting to enter the castle and we had bought our tickets so we didn't have to wait for it.

Easy, in a queue to buy tickets, didn't want to wait so bought tickets online and jumped the queue! Saved about 30 - 40 minutes.

It was really cool! It was a great idea to have the tickets to visit the castle. However, keep in mind that if you go with small children, you can not access with a stroller.

The castle snd Ramparts at Carcassonne are amazing. Outstanding walled medieval city where you can visit the Château and walk the Ramparts of this famous UNESCO site. The views are amazing.

A very nice tour... not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs, normal on the other hand... As a downside... when buying the ticket through the web did not give the option to take audioguide (or at least we did not realize)

Speed of execution, avoiding the queue in front of the château with less than an hour to go before closing time.

Just magnificent 🤩 we loved the medieval city, its castle and ramparts. The renovations are impressive and continue to progress. Superb visit.

The castle is one of the best I have seen, the place outside with so many stores and bars seemed very nice. What I missed was a little bit of empathy on their part, as they did not make much effort to understand the tourist, by that I mean that just as we put effort with translator, signs etc... At least see a smile on the mouth. The letters not only in French, put Spanish, English, German etc. ...,.

The castle is a marvel. With the entrance we did not wait in line. There you have to hire an audio guide to learn about the history of the castle. A magnificent experience!

Positives: the online ticket to avoid waiting in line and that the restaurant where we ate was very nice and the food was good. Negatively: The walkies for self-guide were not well signposted, I found out at the end of the visit. The site seemed too crowded and lost "its charm".

Carcassonne is a town worth visiting. Not only for the Citadel (SPECTACULAR), but also for the "bastide of St. Louis", which looks great at Christmas!!!

Actually we couldn't go because my daughter was sick all night and since they wouldn't let us change dates, we missed the visit.

The house has a new and modern furniture, with all the amenities. Very nice and attentive hosts. The quiet environment in a beautiful village. Highly recommended.

We were a little disappointed with the castle, it looks almost the same as from the walls below. There were a lot of people, they did not limit the capacity and we did not enjoy the tour. At the same time, we had to wait to enter, when in theory it is ''no queue entrance''.

We had to wait in line even though the ticket said no lines. The view of the castle and the ramparts was spectacular. The bad thing about the town is that at 3pm you can't find anywhere to have lunch, almost all the restaurants close at that time.
