All in all, the tours are very well designed. You can easily imagine life at the court of Henry VIII and Ann Boleyn, as well as the later inhabitants. The well-organized kitchen was impressive. The garden is extensive and it is nice to linger under the shady trees.

The palace was beautiful. There were staff who told cool facts and stories about the rooms. I love the tudors and know a lot about it. So at some point i told the staff facts about it that they did know themself.

I had put the wrong date on my booking, totally my faults,but the ticket people wouldn't let me use my ticket on the date it wanted. They gave me 25% off replacement tickets, very disappointing. They could see I hadn't used the tickets. We are three seniors so it has worked out very expensive. I won't use them again

When I got to Hampton Court they couldn't find that I had bought tickets and I couldn't find a confirmation email. I ended up having to pay for three more tickets. I later found the confirmation email in my junk mail. So I didn't get to use the tickets just wasted the money. Could I get a refund? Hampton court was great but you need better communication. I said good, not loved it. Liked the new Tudor rooms. Thought it was expensive as my 14 year old not interested in the Secret Garden as too old and have been in the Palace many times. Pity not tickets for garden only.

The parking was very close by, just across a field, and as soon as you enter the palace, you scan your tickets and begin walking around. I was there for many hours, and it was absolutely wonderful, I still haven't seen everything! I also made a stop at the cafe, and I highly recommend the cheese and ham toastie they served us, with cheese on top and inside, along with many sides like fresh coleslaw, mushrooms, and lettuce; it was delicious! I already want to go back!

I booked Hampton Court tickets in February for June. The confirmation I received offered no details about the booking & stated that the tickets would not be available until about 7 days prior to the entrance date (at the latest). Tickets did not arrive until 3-4 days prior after I contacted Headout twice requesting the tickets. Once they arrived the entrance was for 11:00 am not 2:00 as I had booked. By that time I had booked another tour for the morning so was able to use the tickets. Very disappointed with the delay in receiving tickets & getting the wrong time. If I had received the tickets in a more timely manner I would not have booked another tour in the same time frame. I would not recommend using this company.

it was easy to use the app on my cellphone to purchase tickets. However when we presented those tickets on my cellphone, we were told to return to info desk. We had already had our tickets on display when we ask a separate question at thar desk. No one pointed out that their was another step to be taken at that location before we walked ahead. The person at the gate took care of it, but it was a bit confusing. BUT- a small price to pay for an amazing display of tulips and other plants. It was well worth the mix up.

We loved the historic building, we wanted to feel the history and to learn how a king lived in his hay day. The staff are so helpful, my wife walks with a walking stick. We were approached by member of staff and offered a wheelchair to help my wife get around. We loved the colours and the artistic life. The gardens are a must see. Simply Educational.

We spent 3 full hours , with a brief rest of about 15 mins to refresh in one of the cafes. We arrived for a 11 am slot, slightly earlier, but were allowed in. No queing, just went straight in. We had preordered tickets. Everything was beasutifully relaxed, and i felt hta we could go most places at our leisure. I specifically loved the ancient wood on the counter serving hatch in the great kitchen . I adored the wood coloums . on the entance to The Great Hall. The tapestries were awesome, especially as i learned from one of the guides they are from Henry 8ths time. Lerned so much ! We chose not to do audio, as we prefer to interact together . We walked from Kingston Centre, short walk along the main road, anticipating a river cruise back to our Premier Inn in Kingston. Turks river cruise perfect timing fo us. The experience was all i expected and more. I have waited 50 years to do this ! Thankyou to all staff, volunteers and our amasing Queen for keeping it in our Heritage, avaibe to all. well worth the visit.

1) when we parked, it was not clear where the entrance was 2) there was no cafe except outside - fine but we only found out when we were in the palace and some distance away 3) On entering, we were not offered a map (albeit free maps were available) and we had to buy a guide book to find about the different tours - just too much to take in and make decisions on. 4) the free maps do not show the gardens. Sorry to complain but for £70, I feel it ought to be slicker.

I visited with my granddaughters and enjoyed looking around the palace. I do think the map could be a bit more detailed as we nearly missed the gardens with the maze. Also there were time when we were not sure which direction to go which left us wondering if we had missed something. However we did enjoy the day.

I just booked a ticket. I don't see why I have pat you on the back for it. The Ticket was £25.33. Didn't include parking. Food at Hampton Court was tastless and massively expensive. I went to Versailles in Feb 2020 & the all access ticket was 17 euros. Food cost about the same as Hampton Court but was delicious. Given that Versailles is much larger and far more impressive plus magnificent condition. The Gardens were also magnificent. Hampton Court was a bit of a let down and more expensive. The organisation that runs it should take some lessons from Versailles.

It was a great experience. I reached there 45 minutes earlier , they let me to go on 30 minutes earlier cruise. Very cooperative. Good atmosphere. Hampton court was perfect with no problems. Just a problem with the parking booked with head out! Parking booked weeks before to make like easy, however they were expecting us to pay again for our parking as they said they don't deal with head out any more, which I could not understand as Hampton court was booked with head out and they excepted that. After speaking with the manager of Hampton Court , she kindly lifted the barriers. The parking at Kew was perfect. Thank you to head out.

Having booked 2 senior tickets, 1 adult and 1 student ticket at the cost of £85, was puzzled that only 2 tickets were on the attatchment to be printed. Thought this strange but was not really understanging various initials on the tickets. Arrived at the Palace to be told we only had 2 tickets. Fortunately the staff were very kind and allowed us to enter but there was much anxiety while all this was checked. I would recommend people booked directly with the Palace.

I came with my granddaughter who is 17 and studying A level history. She loves the Tudor period with Henry VIII and his six wives. She models herself on Anne Boleyn. She has seen the musical SIX once and knows every song from the six wives. I bought her some earrings in the gift shop with the letter B on. Towards the end of our visit we were lucky to chat to Kirsty as my daughter wondered where Jane Seymour's room was where she gave birth. Kirsty was able to point to a room high up from the outside and showed us a lot more places of interest that we had missed.

Had to keep asking directions and,having followed signs to maze, found I had done round-about route which made a long walk even longer with two small children in tow (expected to get lost inside maze, but not outside!)

It was brilliant to walk around Hampton Court it's a very big site so make sure you give yourself time to see everything. Cakes in the coffee shop were expensive, car park was reasonably priced and the car park attendant was very helpful. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Gardens were beautiful and a nice pleasure to walk around. Would go back again.

We were in a bad traffic jam and 2 hours delayed. Contact made to your company but was told that according to cancellation policy we couldn't have a later slot or book for another day. Very disappointing as we had to return home. The drive up Hampton court is normally 2 1/2 hours and we ended up spending 6 hours in a car for no trip. We were unable to contact Hampton court direct as phone lines were unavailable.

My partner and I are disabled so we asked if we could hire a mobility scooter. Was told once we got to gardens we could get one there. We had a lovely day out! It was lovely to come back and see Hampton Court Palance again. Definetly would have been even better if the old kitchen was working as a live and functioning display as has been on previous visits, and the old costumes were missing in their coloured fabrics. But we got it, during these Covid times. We were still able to enjoy the history and explore the rooms. We also really enjoyed the story telling in the garden, about the field of Gold, and the Kings. It was also lovely to speak to one of the gardeners who are (mostly) volunteers. The gardens are absolutely beautiful.

Really had a great time despite the weather. All the different rooms were full of interesting facts, enough to keep my 8 year old son entertained, and the staff were particularly helpful and knowledgeable. We spoke to maybe 6 or 7 staff members and everyone we spoke to was lovely. Really liked the addition of the horse drawn carts round the gardens too.

I contacted you through your customer services and asked for the third ticket to be sent but ithere was no reply. At the box office at Hampton Court they were very helpful, they could see that you hadn't sent the third ticketsvand issued a replacement.

My family and I all found the Palace a rather dry experience....gone are the characters who used to go around and engage the children and I (as an ex teacher) felt the information was very unengaging and did not give children a real flavour of the ploace. Even in the great hall, where the tables were laid out with information, these could have been far more colourful , with less text and more pictures. even though all children learn about the tudors at school at some time in primary school, the experience did not reflect the awe in which Henry V111 can produce in children....so for us....my 11 and 8 year old grandsons, this was a disappointing visit...and the Maze was closed!

Had a wonderful day at Hampton Court on Saturday July 24 2021. Online booking was simple and straight forward and although we arrived early at the venue (just a 40minute train journey from London Waterloo, and a four minute walk to the Castle) the friendly meet and greet staff let us in at 11am for our 11.30am slot. Spent four fascinating hours there, although could easily have lingered longer. Enjoyed the humorous enactment of the Field of Gold (Henry VIII v Francois of France) and took the picturesque horse drawn carriage ride through the beautiful gardens. The only slight disappointment was that the main gift shop was closed, but the smaller shop had a lovely selection of tasteful gifts. No tat! Highly recommend the castle and grounds and will definitely visit again.

On arrival at the magnificent gates I was totally in awe. Having had a keen obsession with anything from Tudor history from a young age this trip was a dream come true. Everything I saw was just as I'd imagined; only better! For me, the highlight of the visit was exploring Henry's private appartments. The great hall was truly breathtaking. As I wandered around I could almost hear the hustle and bustle of the grand Tudor court that were once there. Overall, if you are wnating to walk in the footsteps of our great Tudor Heritage, Hampton Court Palace is the place to go, you will not be disappointed. There are plenty of freindly staff dotted around each room who are ready to share their great knowledge about the palace. A fabulous day out not far from London.

Could not attend Hampton Court as informed I had to self isolate. I live in the north east and had planned to visit during a weeks holiday I was having down south. When I was unable to attend I asked if my tickets could be deferred so I could use them next year. Basically told not possible and asked to show proof that I couldn't attend. Disgraceful customer service. I had also booked tickets for Windsor Castle through a different operator. They could not have been more accommodating allowing me to postpone my tickets for 12 months. Your operators could learn a lot from them re customer care.

I've been to Hampton Court before and so knew how good the palace and gardens are. We purchased tickets online in advance. There was no warning on any of the ticketing websites, or the Hampton court website itself - that there would be a flower festival on. The hour and twenty minutes it too to travel the last 3 miles was extremely frustrating. The only traffic warning on the website relates to the council replacing pavements. Why the festival doesn't use Kempton Park as a park and ride is probably explained by the £16 per day car parking fee charged in the temporary car parks around the palace. I would not advise anyone to visit the palace while the flower festival is on.

We weren’t interest in the exhibition but the Henry VIII apartments weren’t as extensive as I remember from years ago, and a lot of it was closed because it was Sunday! The cafe was well overpriced so we didn’t eat there. And the Maze was closed apparently due to Covid, although it’s all outside. A shame.

Our tour of the Palace began well but in a short time became impossible to complete due to my husband's unexpected illness. However, we would like to thank the staff who went beyond their duty to assist us. We hope to return to the palace and gardens in the near future to complete our tour. We came in 2018 and had such a lovely time that we had to do it again. We were a little disappointed with the ride on the horse and carriage though as we had a commentary like last time and we were expecting the same again. Maybe you could think about putting in speakers in the seating areas of the carriage, even if it's a recording, we could then hear some of the history of the gardens. Regards Sandra Saward

Hampton court offered so much to the different ages of our group - ranging from 4 to 55. Ranging from a beautiful palace steeped in history, space for the kids to run around in the gardens, a location for a lovely picnic and we topped off our trip in the magic garden which appealed to the younger members of our group. Really lovely day out.

Good friendly Palace staff who were warm and informative. Enjoyed this part of our trip. The cafe however was clearly understaffed and crowded and felt unsafe. Too many customers saving tables whilst others with food wandered around looking for a place to eat. We (5 of us) resorted to eating outdoors under and umbrella in the rain. We had to clear our own table and the leftovers were besieged by crows. Sandwiches were very average.

It was easy booking my tickets to Hampton court palace and I just showed them at the gate and got in very easy it was a very easy experience and a lovely day out the only draw back was we wanted to take out a year's membership but as we went with you and not with historical royal palaces we were not able to deduct the 50 pounds we had spent with you it would be good if you were able to incorporate this with them

My last visit to Hampton Court was in 2008. Lots of things have changed since then and not for the best. It was disappointing not to find the staff dressed up in Tudor manner. The Tudor kitchen used to be active once with cooking going on but not any longer. The maze was closed, however COVID is not a great excuse as you can release slots for people to enter if they wish to visit. The place has become more commercial and less fun for kids

Trip to event needed to be changed/cancelled, due to a train cancellation. The online support and use of the headout app could use improvement. - The link send to email, enabling the phone app did not work, after trying it twice. - Trying to change event tickets leads to a slow online 'bot' which is not ideal.

Although customer service answered my call quickly they were not able to resolve my query. I needed to push back my reservation booking a couple of hours due to delayed travel and they were not able to modify this booking. Luckily the people of Hampton Court still allowed me in. However, due to this reason it caused me quite a lot of stress and aniexty which caused me not to aenjoy my day fully. For this reason alone I will not be booking with head out again until there are modifications put in place

Superb place to see. You need plenty of time to see everything as the building and gardens are huge. The information boards in each room take time to read so a guided tour would be a wonderful experience.

The staff were really knowledgable about the envirmment, gardens are beautiful. The only downside was that we wanted to upgrade our tickets so we could go back and see other places, but because it was done through a third party we was unable to.

nothing went wrong per se aand I underestand that during the pandemic there are going to be some adjustments but for over £50 for 2 people it was pretty poor , I have been before and there were more exhibitions open and guided tours etc. Perhaps if you are unable to provide a good experience, charge less. We came because we live nearby and we love supporting Hampton Court but if I were a normal customer I don't think I would be impressed or recomend coming along to others. Maybe we are asking too much during a pandemic but you asked!

Enjoyed our visit to Hampton Court, the buildings, gardens and history made it a great day out. Only disappointment was the maze and tennis court were closed. Recommend the Mute Swan across the road for refreshments after your visit.
