Loved seeing the pyramids and sphinx up close. Skip the line saved some time but because of the heat we still opted to hire a horse cart to take us around. It was worth it. We also purchased the option of going inside the great pyramid. This was not worth it. It was just a long low tunnel to a small room. Waste of money.

I should have been given a flyer, either physical or online, with the circuit or circuits available and how to do them. When I entered, I felt lost and didn't know where to start. And I was immediately approached about horse and camel schemes which, in my opinion, given that we pay for a ticket, like any museum, there should be no other forms of competition or sale outside the internal system.Maria

I bought the tickets on the day but noone told me that it may take up to 2 hours to receive e them after payment. In my case it took about 45-60 min. Some of the camel guys were really pesturing us even if repeatedly told them that we don't want their service which did not allow us to focus on the grandeur of the pyramids. The waiter at the restaurant got the conversion from egypt pounds to dollars wrong / but did not try to cheat as the initial estimate was not in his favour, it was just annoying to be stopped while leaving the restaurant and be told that the bill I just paid was wrong/. Also the entrance to the Menkaura's pyramid was not included in the ticket.
