Experience Mozart’s operatic masterpieces and a 3-course Czech-Austrian dinner in Prague’s historic Boccaccio Ballroom.
Getting started
Arrive at the Grand Hotel Bohemia’s Boccaccio Ballroom, Old Town, Králodvorská 4 (side entrance). Present your ticket at the entrance, where the event staff will lead you to your table and hand you an audio guide in your chosen language.
Inside the Boccaccio Ballroom
Enter the neo-Baroque Boccaccio Ballroom and take in its ornate marble columns, gilded details, and crystal glasswork. The candlelit setting feels intimate yet grand, offering a fitting backdrop for an evening inspired by classical music and old world elegance.
Live Mozart performance in period costume
As the evening unfolds, opera singers and musicians from Czech opera houses take the stage dressed in period costumes, bringing the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to life. You’ll hear well-known arias and duets from Don Giovanni, The Marriage of Figaro, and The Magic Flute, performed across three segments of around 20 minutes each. The music is carefully timed to flow naturally between courses, creating a seamless blend of concert and dining.
Dining between musical acts
Between performances, enjoy a thoughtfully prepared 3-course menu inspired by Czech and Austrian traditions. Depending on your selection, dishes may include cream of sweet peas, beef bourguignon, or a vegan curry, followed by homemade apple pie with vanilla sauce. Drinks are available for purchase, allowing you to tailor the evening to your preferences.
Follow the story with an audio guide
To deepen your understanding of the music, use the multilingual audio guide available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Czech, Polish, or Chinese. The guide helps you follow the storyline, characters, and musical highlights, making the experience accessible and engaging even if you are new to opera.
