Just as jaw-dropping gorgeous as we remembered it from a visit 5 years ago. When we got to the front of the line, there was a solo woman whose misread her entry time. One in our party had stayed back at the hotel, so we invited this woman to use our extra ticket. It will forever be a treasured memory of how her face lit up. Despite language barriers, she continued to convey her gratitude throughout the visit. So beautiful to hear her audible gasp when entering the chapel. Favorite site in Paris!

I had a great experience with Headout! We managed to get tickets for Sainte-Chapelle when it looked like everything was sold out, and we had almost accepted we wouldn’t be able to visit. The process was super easy, the queue was light, and the price was very fair. I’ll definitely use Headout again in the future — highly recommended!

Saint Chapelle is a great place to visit. The organization to visit was however chaotic. We had tickets at 14:30 and the queing line was very busy, finally we weer only allowed in at 15:15. At the same time, all people with later tickets were also getting impatient. They should consider less tickets to keep it better organized...

BEAUTIFUL! If you can, make your reservations in advance and try to arrive early. They do have a line if you don't have tickets, but the line is long and the times lag behind the later in the day it gets. Is it worth it to visit St. Chappelle and the Concierge? Definitely! St. Chappelle is stunningly beautiful. The stained glass panels all tell a story from Genesis to Revelation (Rose Window). It's hard to believe it was built in the 1200s and is still in great shape. I'm so thankful we found tickets at the last minute to see this treasure. I would have had FOMO if I hadn't seen it. It's quite incredible. The Concierge is also in great shape and amazing to visit. Now when I see Middle Age scenes, I can imagine where they took place, and where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned.

The value of the experience for the money paid is not very good. The person controlling the crowd was very rude and not helpful at all. The times people were being let in did not correspond to what was on the sign.

The simplicity and speed of the reservation and purchase process for tickets to the Sainte Chapelle and then to the conciergerie: all in efficiency.

The queue was a disaster, we entered 1 hour and a bit late. The visit afterwards was fine, but the wait to get in, the interpreter and the rain, bad.

Sainte Chapelle is breath taking, a must do in Paris. Its beauty cannot be captured in words, it has to be seen to be believed.
  • These tickets are valid until 24 Oct, 2028.

  • Come discover this historic monument in Paris, an architectural gem from the Gothic period, at your own pace. Commissioned by King Saint-Louis and built in 1241, it relives the history of Sainte-Chapelle, guided by a series of information panels.

    Sainte-Chapelle

You will learn how the Sainte-Chapelle was originally built to house relics of the Passion of the Christ acquired by the monarch during the 13th century. These include a piece of the True Cross and the Holy Crown, which nearly disappeared in the early 19th century! Starting in 1790, Sainte-Chapelle was restricted to members of the clergy and was emptied of its contents. It progressively became archive storage for the neighboring Palais de Justice also known as Paris’s Court House, until a restoration campaign was started under pressure from the public.

Today, it is no longer possible to admire the relics for which Sainte-Chapelle was built, as they were either lost or displaced during the French Revolution. You can, however, admire the chapel’s breathtakingly beautiful stained-glass windows. With 15 windows of 50 sq. ft. each, you can view the history of the world up until the arrival of the relics in Paris. In total, 1,113 scenes are depicted on the stained glass. Information is provided so that you won’t miss a single detail of these colored glass artworks.

    Conciergerie

At the end of the 14th century, the Kings of France abandoned this medieval royal castle (moving to the Louvre, which at the time was more appealing), and it was converted into a jail and revolutionary tribunal. During the French Revolution, it served as a major holding facility and was referred to as "the antechamber to the guillotine. Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned here too — get to visit her commemorative chapel.
