There was a huge line, but we got in in like a minute. The Pantheon itself was a phenomenal site to witness. Also in the crypts there was a lot of groups of youth who were talking about milestones of people who sleep there forever now. It just made me believe in future a little bit more!

Great all round! The directions to the catacombs were easy to understand. Entry with the online ticket went smoothly. The catacombs themselves are an experience not to be missed in Paris. As the catacombs were quickly fully booked, it is worth booking 2 weeks in advance. Entry for "walk-in customers" was no longer possible on the day. The audio guide is also available in German and tells the story of the catacombs in an exciting but not too long way. It's well worth a listen! Finally, of course, a must for all "Queens of the Stone Age" fans 🤟😊

The Pantheon is a secret gem and a must-visit! It's less crowded than many of the other famous Paris sites. The building is stunning (begun as a church during the Monarchy and then switched to being used by the Republic to honor important secular people). The paintings and architecture on the top floor are incredible, along with the Focoult pendulum, and in the crypts below are Voltaire, Rousseau, Louis Braille, Marie Curie and Josephine Baker - just to mention a few.
    • Admire the exquisite interiors as you marvel at mosaics and paintings depicting scenes from French history at the Pantheon.

    • Find out how Foucault's Pendulum lets you witness the Earth's rotation and visit the crypt that houses well-known French personalities.

    • Walk through the underground tunnels of Paris Catacombs, the final resting place of over 6 million people, listening to the immersive audio guide.

    • Hear the unbelievable story of how the catacombs were built, and the massive project that was undertaken to move bones from around the city to this point.

    • Did you know? Before serving as a burial site, the catacombs area was the site of a bunch of limestone quarries.

Climb up to the Pantheon’s impressive dome and treat your eyes to incredible views of Paris. Obtain 360-degree views of Paris from the Pantheon's impressive dome.
