This was a well laid out visitor site. The staff were directive, handing out the phones with recorded messages (no headphones) that were paced with the exhibition. I thought it would be colder. There were dozens of steep stairs to descend (and then ascend). Everyone will take what they will from this display. I wasn't expecting to feel this so deeply. The tiny skulls and femurs were shocking at first. Then I began to see them in a different way.

The Catacombs were very awe inspiring. Although deep underground, the comfortable width passage with very few low overheads, the single route (no chance of getting turned around,) plenty of lights and a few staff members make this a pleasant experience. We did the self-guided with audio, which is great if you are interested in the history, but not needed to enjoy the majesty of this monument.

The Paris Catacombs were so impressive that the walk along the Seine didn't seem so interesting, although the city from the river was gorgeous. It's even a matter of time perception. An hour in the catacombs flew by, and the river walk lasted a long time. If you're not afraid of narrow spaces and cemeteries, I highly recommend visiting the catacombs. I'm delighted

Transaction was safe and easy. We were in Paris for an unplanned layover. There are a lot of scams for the catacomb tickets. This is a real site and we had no issues. I wish there was an opening for 2 for the tour when we went. Highly recommend.

The ability to go at your own pace and not be rushed through the space was very nice. It wasn't overly crowded because of how they staggered the tour groups, so this was helpful if you wanted to linger a bit longer in one spot.

The actual tours were fine but the waiting time for the tickets was stressful. I was initially told I would receive tickets 24 hrs in advance, then in an hour, then half an hour, then 6 hours. I went to bed thinking that I was seriously scammed of over $400. Then the tickets appeared mid morning of the day of the 2 pm tour.

A fascinating experience to travel back through time, to see how each era of deceased peoples were categorised respectfully with explanation. I needed hiking poles & all staff were extremely solicitous & anxious to help but I managed well. Good to see seats scattered along the way. Thank you
