Fantastic excursion. Pre-meeting arrangements easy to make by WhatsApp. Picked up at arranged time and location by very helpful Mouhssine who was very welcoming and helpful. He checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was going ok. Unique trip with good stopping points, places of interest and photo opportunities. A reasonably challenging mountain walk to see the waterfalls. Stout shoes, good balance and strong knees recommended! Lovely lunch by the stunning river. An excellent day excursion. Highly recommended. Thanks to all.

A wonderful excursion to the Berber region at the foot of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. A delightful encounter with a Berber family for a tea ceremony, tasting bread, honey, olive oil, and butter; discovering pottery making; meeting with the women's cooperative that produces argan oil; visiting the waterfalls, which are abundant at this time of year; followed by a delicious meal by the river. Special mention to our guide Morad for his knowledge and kindness. A must-do!

Unbelievable! The best day of my trip to Morocco. Ayoub was a great driver. He was always attentive to our needs, punctual, and careful. Oussama was our guide who took us to the waterfall. He was also lovely and always attentive to our needs. This excursion exceeded our expectations. We had a delicious lunch in an idyllic setting. Thank you so much.

It was impossible to download the tickets from the HEADOUT app. Fortunately, a gardener at the entrance to the garden was kind enough to help us out of this predicament. He saw that we had paid for our tickets on your app and registered us on another site to give us access to the entrance.

It was great! The guide was fantastic. It’s definitely an experience worth having, though we weren’t expecting that at all—we thought it would be a leisurely stroll, but it turns out you really need sturdy shoes because there’s a lot of climbing. Not recommended for young children or anyone with mobility issues.

I had a problem with the purchase, and the assistance was quick and friendly. Despite the long line at the entrance to the gardens, I got in fairly quickly. The gardens are beautiful; you could spend hours there. The ticket price is definitely reasonable. Recommended.

  • Embark on a full-day adventure combining Atlas Mountains exploration with Marrakech's most iconic botanical garden.

    Getting Started

Begin with morning pickup from your Marrakesh hotel or riad in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Your multilingual guide will accompany you on the scenic 60-90 minute drive through changing landscapes toward the Atlas Mountains. The tour typically starts with the Ourika Valley portion before returning to Marrakech for your Jardin Majorelle visit in the late afternoon.

    What to Expect

    Ourika Valley & Atlas Mountains

The Ourika Valley is a lush mountain retreat nestled in the High Atlas foothills, known for its dramatic landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and traditional Berber villages. This picturesque valley offers an authentic glimpse into rural Moroccan life.

    Features

    • Setti Fatma Waterfall hike: Trek for approximately 1 hour with a local guide along rocky terrain to reach the stunning waterfalls, crossing streams and navigating steep paths with breathtaking mountain views.

    • Tnine Ourika village: Stop at this traditional Berber village to experience local life; if visiting on Monday, explore the vibrant weekly souk filled with local goods and handicrafts.

    • Berber home visit: Enter a traditional mountainside home to learn about Berber architecture, daily life, and customs while enjoying Moroccan mint tea with a local family.

    • Argan oil cooperative: Visit a women's cooperative to witness the traditional hand-grinding process of extracting argan oil and learn about its culinary and cosmetic uses.

    • Riverside lunch (if selected): Savor authentic Moroccan tagine or couscous at a scenic restaurant beside the Ourika River, surrounded by mountain vistas.

    Jardin Majorelle

Jardin Majorelle is a celebrated botanical garden in Marrakech, renowned for its striking cobalt blue accents and tranquil pathways. Created by French painter Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent, it offers a peaceful retreat from the city's bustle.

    Features

    • Botanical collections: Wander among exotic plants from five continents, including rare cacti, towering bamboo groves, palms, and water lilies thoughtfully arranged throughout the 2.3-acre garden.

    • Distinctive architecture: Admire the vivid Majorelle Blue Art Deco villa and studio, a landmark of the garden's unique artistic vision and bold color palette.

    • Reflective pools: Pause by serene water features, lily-covered ponds, and bubbling fountains that enhance the garden's calming atmosphere and provide perfect photo opportunities.
