    Our tour guide was just the best! She was very friendly and smiley the entire time! Her ?British accent made the experience even more interesting. Sadly I completely forgot her name but she has curly hair and a right dimple. She gave us a really good tour filled with laughter and information. She was also not shy of any questions we had for her about the opera house and answered with a lot of passion. Hands down the best tour guide I've had since coming to Sydney! (Note to her if she reads this: the "Cats" on the caps weren't actually from the musical. They were AFL Geelong Cats caps" 🤣 Another highlight was watching the students rehearse in the concert hall. That was phenomenal! Just hearing the acoustics of the room and learning how it's design was purposely made for it to sound like that irregardless of where you are in the audience blows my mind!

    • Guests will need to climb 300 stairs, so please wear comfortable walking shoes.

    • Tours do not operate on Good Friday, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day before 11am.

    • If you've opted for the meal upgrade, you can redeem it at the House Canteen or Opera Bar between 11:30am and 6pm or Midden by Mark Olive, between 11:30am-2:30pm for lunch, or 5-6pm for dinner.

    • Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour.

    • Please check in at the Welcome Center located on the Lower Concourse level of the Sydney Opera House.
