The incredible variety of marine species ,avifauna,reptiles and last but not least the dolphins, moving in their playing and seeking contact with humans, although in captivity I believe they are as happy as a dog waiting for its human companion. Beautiful day at this great exhibition and research center.

We liked everything very much. Especially the dolphin show and the beluga whales. I've never seen beluga whales before. The whole area is beautiful and very well maintained. Valenzia and the Oceanografic was the best part of our cruise. We will be back as we had almost too little time to see everything in peace and quiet :)

Il museo oceanografico è un'attrazione stupenda e vale assolutamente la pena di passarci almeno mezza giornata (3-4 ore). Il processo per comprare i biglietti è molto semplice, unica nota negativa: il cinema 4d è entro le 12-13.

Oceanogràfic Immersion

Make your way to the state-of-the-art underwater city of Oceanogràfic in Valencia. Located in the amazing City of Arts and Sciences, it is designed to resemble the shape of a water lily. The building is built across 2 levels. The upper floors feature outdoor exhibitions and are surrounded by a huge freshwater lake where pelicans, cormorants, and flamingos thrive. The lower level has the largest aquarium in Europe, home to several species of the world’s main marine ecosystems.

Your time here will feel like a journey through the Mediterranean, wetlands, temperate and tropical seas, as well as the Antarctic and Arctic oceans of the world. Fun fact: the Dolphinarium holds more than 24 million liters of water, and hits a depth of 10.5 meters. As you explore the building, learn about the behavior of more than 45,000 sea creatures from 500 different species, including belugas, sea lions, and sharks.

Experience a mélange of sensations at the 4D Cinema. From wind, snow, light-play, and more, get lost in the story at the screening room of the Red Sea Auditorium. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, simply head to the underwater restaurant (not included). However, here's a friendly reminder that the 4D Cinema is inaccessible to children aged 4 and under.

You can access the enclosure directly through the turnstiles with tickets downloaded on your mobile phones (not valid for tablets).
Facilities: Wheelchair Accessibility, Paid Parking.
Moreover, if you have reduced mobility, you can request to borrow a wheelchair, leaving a nominal refundable deposit.

Restrictions

The following are not allowed inside the venue: Flash photography, selfie sticks, underwater cameras, outside food, and pets (with the exception of guide dogs).
Smoking is permitted outdoors, except in the dolphinarium facility and in all areas where large crowds of people may be present.
The 4D Cinema is not accessible to children aged 4 and under.
