    What our guests say

History came alive for me on this Normandy D-Day tour from Paris. Traveling solo, I loved that our guide made even the coach ride engaging with stories and facts, especially about Canada’s involvement—you don’t always hear that side. The first moment standing on Juno Beach, imagining the enormity of what happened there, was honestly unforgettable. Lunch was a really nice break—two tasty courses with a glass of local cider, sitting with others who were just as moved by the experience. The group felt friendly and not too big, which let us get our guide’s attention without shouting. I do wish we’d lingered longer at Pointe du Hoc, as there was so much to soak in, but the tour managed to fit in an ambitious schedule. The coach was comfortable, so even with the early start and late return, I never felt too worn out. A meaningful, very well organized day.

My partner and I had wanted to see the D-Day beaches for ages, so we booked this tour on our Paris trip. Getting picked up in the early morning was a bit tough, but the coach was comfy and our guide really made the journey interesting—telling us stories that connected all the places together. Lunch was delicious—Normandy chicken and a crisp cider, which felt very local. Juno Beach and Pointe du Hoc were both powerful to visit, and I appreciated how the guide focused on both the Canadian and American perspectives. The only downside: you do have to keep an eye on the clock at each site, as the schedule’s tight. Even so, we’re so glad we went—it’s a packed day, but one I’ll remember for a long time.

Good value for a full day out of Paris, especially with all the sites covered like Juno Beach and the American Cemetery. The guide knew a lot and kept things interesting, though we did feel a bit rushed in a couple places. Nice bus, lunch was much better than I expected—we even got cider! Would happily recommend if you’re short on time but want the highlights.

Really packed day—comfortable coach, solid guide, and so many historic stops. You don’t get loads of time at each site but it’s a good overview. Would do it again for sure.
