A great day out in and around Innsbruck! Breathtaking views, the cable cars and shuttles are on time, and the Alpine Zoo was such a nice experience!

We had the ticket Nirdkettenbahn and Alpenzoo. With the tickets to the Nordkettenbahn everything worked smoothly. Unfortunately, it was so that at this time the thunderstorm came up and the cable cars were closed for a while. So we could neither go up to the last point nor back to the valley. Since we lost a lot of time because of this, we unfortunately didn't make it to the Alpenzoo. The customer support said that they can't do anything because the ticket is only valid on a certain day. Very unfortunate. What was positive is that the customer support was quickly available.

Apart from the beauty of Innsbruck and the sociability of the inhabitants, we liked the organization. Starting with the small (but important) things such as seeing the attention given to children (on the 30th there were free wooden games in the city's squares and narrow streets; on the 31st the running race through the downtown streets). The cable car, which is innovative, efficient and punctual; the highest zoo in Europe where the animals seem to be in their natural habitats because of the sophistication and care with which it was designed; the New Year's Eve fireworks from the Nordkette visible from every point in the city; and certainly much more that I can't think of now

Headout ticketing experience was easy and seamless. The experience of Innsbruck from the top was just awesome! Innsbruck Nordkette is one of the most magnificient places one could visit.

Very easy to get tickets and affordable. 45 minutes to get to the top via the tram and cable cars but it's in 15 minute intervals. The view from the top is totally worth it, especially you can see peaks beyond Innsbruck in multiple directions that are in Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany. Definitely recommend. The view is worth it and the stops on the way as well

Cable cars and Funicular are suitable for wheelchair users, pram/stroller users and pregnant women.
Most paths and exhibits in the Alpine Zoo, especially those close to the entrance, are accessible to wheelchair users but some parts of the zoo area are quite steep.
Pet dogs/guide dogs not allowed.
