My experience on the Chicago River Cruise was nothing short of AMAZING!! I learned a lot from the presenter, he was very knowledgeable about the information he provided and spoke very fluently. The people on board were very friendly, the workers were very professional and polite. It was very clean, the ride was very smooth. I rate this experience two thumbs up and 100 stars.

My 45‑minute Wendella architecture cruise turned out to be one of the best things I did in Chicago. From the moment the boat pulled away from the dock, I felt like I was seeing the city from a completely new angle. Even though the tour was short, the pace felt perfect—fast enough to stay engaging but never rushed. By the time we returned, I had a deeper appreciation for Chicago’s architecture and a camera full of riverfront shots. I genuinely would recommend this very affordable tour to anyone visiting the city or even locals who want to see Chicago from a fresh perspective.

Our evening on the Odyssey Chicago River Architecture Dinner Cruise was unforgettable. The views of Chicago’s iconic skyline and historic buildings were breathtaking, and the narration made the city’s architecture come alive. The staff was genuinely warm and attentive, the meal was delicious, and the atmosphere on board felt both elegant and relaxed. Watching the city lights reflect on the river while enjoying dinner with friends was a perfect experience. I would gladly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a memorable way to experience Chicago.

Really enjoyed the Seadog speedboat cruise along Lake Michigan- the weather was beautiful and the lights of the city twinkled like stars.

The guide Justine (math teacher) was the best! She provided many interesting details about the buildings we passed on this 90 min river and lake architecture tour. On top some edutaining stories, a recommendable experience! Boat and weather was good as well.

The tour was amazing! Tour guide was great and she kept the crowd engaged. Being able to see the sunset out on the lake was stunning!! 10/10 would highly recommend!!

This tour covered a lot more buildings than I though it would, it felt as though the guide had something to say about nearly every building we passed. For 45 minutes, the guide, who did speak pretty quickly, was able to fit in so much information! I also appreciate the sense of humor with which the tour was given; this and other factors made it so that you didn't at any point feel like you were being lectured at and want to zone out. I was engaged the whole time. One of the best parts was heading closer to the mouth of the river and being shown such a scenic view of the city, this was beautiful! Though I would consider doing a longer cruise because I would have loved to learn more, this is very worthwhile in and of itself and especially if you only have (exactly) 45 minutes.
