It takes you right up into the misty basin of the Horseshoe Falls, where the power of the water is overwhelming. Fair warning: the plastic ponchos they hand out are practically decorative! By the end of the ride, we were completely drenched from head to toe. Pro tip: Once the boat reaches the heart of the falls, put your phone away. The mist is too heavy for good photos, and you run the risk of waterlogging your gear. Just embrace the spray, close your eyes for a second, and soak in an unforgettable moment.

Before we even got to the falls, our guide gave us some great information regarding the area and how the falls came to be the attraction it now is. Behind the falls is a can't miss too (don't just do the boat ride). Once on the boat, the operator got us super close to the falls making for great photo opportunities.
