Rome voor fijnproevers

Dit was een geweldige ervaring. De proeverij met Nina was niet alleen een culinaire traktatie, maar ook een zeer leerzame ervaring, omdat ze ons alles vertelde over de geschiedenis van Prosecco, balsamicoazijn en truffels. Hoe ze worden gemaakt, bewaard en beoordeeld! Bedankt Nina voor een FANTASTISCHE tijd!! Patrick was een uitstekende instructeur die ons de kunst van het pasta maken heeft bijgebracht! Met zijn humor en passie wist hij 16 mensen uit Australië, Ierland, de VS en Portugal samen te brengen en een sfeer te creëren waarin we een kleine familie werden!

Het was mijn laatste dag in Rome en deze excursie gaf me de kans om het Toscaanse platteland te proeven en de heerlijke wijnen te proeven. Onze gids Anna was erg informatief en vrolijk, en onze gids Luke was uitstekend. Hetzelfde geldt voor Stefania die ons rondleidde in Montepucciano.

I’m gluten free and usually have to miss out on food tours but this one was SO thoughtful. Our guide Giulia made sure I had subs at every stop and even got me a different dessert so I didn’t feel left out. Went with my partner and we both left full and happy. 100% recommend if you have diet needs.

Didn’t expect to enjoy a cooking class this much but honestly, it was EPIC. The chef was super chill, played old Italian songs while we cooked, and made sure everyone got hands-on. I now know how to do pasta from scratch (gonna show off at my next dinner party). The pistachio gelato…wow. Would do it again!

Took my two kids, ages 7 and 11. The chef kept them entertained the whole time, and didn’t mind the mess. We got to decorate our pizzas with faces (my daughter made a smiley face out of olives). Tiramisu was a HIT. Highly recommend for families.

Absolutely LOVED this class. Chef made everyone feel welcome, even us shy folks. Food was incredible and I actually learned a few tricks!

Did this with my mom and little bro, and honestly, one of the best tours we’ve done in Europe. Our guide, Luca, was hilarious and had crazy stories about the area. Can’t believe how much we ate! The highlight was this tiny family place where the owner just kept bringing food out. Also, you can’t take pics in the wine cellar (boo), but it’s worth seeing!

I’m not usually a tour person but my boyfriend talked me into this—so glad I did! Our guide, Eliana, was super sweet and really passionate about Roman food. Loved that she remembered everyone’s names. The suppli at the first stop was crunchy perfection. It was soooo hot outside but the shaded streets helped. Would recommend doing this on your first night in Rome to get all the local tips.
