From Marrakesh, set off on a 3-hour journey to the charming city of Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. This port city was once the favorite hang out spot of legends like Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens, and you will have plenty of time to explore its best highlights. Think ocher-colored walls, the vibrant Moulay El Hassan square, plenty of souks, and the narrow alleyways of the city's old Medina. Then, break for lunch and enjoy a delicious meal of fresh fish at a local restaurant (at your own expense).
As part of your trip, you will visit a group of Berber women who produce argan oil. You will also see the local bazaars, and admire the gems in the jeweler's quarter. At the end of the tour, you will arrive back to the "Red City.”
