  • Currently, Auschwitz-Birkenau is a synonym for the world’s most cruel terror, genocide and atrocities. The camp was built in 1940 by the Nazis in the suburbs of Oświęcim. The total number of deaths and executions is estimated at over 1.1 million people from 28 nationalities. Since 1979, this site has been listed on the UNESCO Cultural and Natural World Heritage list. The English Guide (Hotel Pickup and Meeting Point) tour options include a visit to both parts of the camp, Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. This tour is available with shared transfers, entrance fees and a live guide.
