Nice narrated tour, which gave a great background on the historical events that shaped Lisbon. Time efficient as well. The museum was a pleasant place to spend time on a hot afternoon!

Easy access to the venue. Got a discount having used Headout for a previous event. The Lisboa story centre was very informative about the history of Lisbon and its recovery from the great earthquake. We enjoyed it!

An engaging museum, the Lisboa Story Centre holds displays, moving pictures, and animations that recount the city's 2500+ years of history. The municipal hall, originally constructed in the 18th century, has been completely renovated to serve as the museum.

The great earthquake of 1755, the Era of Discoveries, the city's golden age in the 18th century, and the post-earthquake restoration are all covered in the permanent display. There's also a VR area where people can get a first-person perspective on the city's past. Rua Augusta Arch

Located on the bustling Praça do Comércio plaza, the Rua Augusta Arch is a must-see landmark in the Portuguese capital. Reconstructing the city after the devastating earthquake of 1755 inspired its development in the nineteenth century. The triumphal Arch, forming a magnificent entryway to the city, represents Lisbon’s resilience and the efforts made to recover from the calamity it saw. Featuring a statue of the goddess of triumph, winged figures, and reliefs showing episodes from the restoration of Lisbon, the Rua Augusta Arch is constructed in a neoclassical style.
