Het was erg mooi, rustig en er hing een aangename sfeer. Als je echt bereid bent om de lange wandeling over het hele terrein te maken, zorg er dan voor dat je water meeneemt! Vooral op zonnige dagen.

Park Güell is een must-visit plek in Barcelona, vooral als je een fan bent van het werk van Gaudí. Het park zit vol kleurrijke mozaïeken, grillige architectuur en een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Hoogtepunten zijn de beroemde mozaïek hagedis (El Drac), de serpentine bank en de indrukwekkende zuilen van de Hypostyle Hall. Het park combineert natuur met surrealistisch design op een manier die magisch en uniek aanvoelt. Het is een geweldige plek om te wandelen, te ontspannen en foto's te nemen-maar het kan er behoorlijk druk zijn, dus van tevoren kaartjes reserveren is een goed idee. Bereid je ook voor op wat bergopwaarts wandelen. Al met al is het een prachtige en inspirerende plek die de creatieve geest van Barcelona weergeeft.

Een bezoek aan Park Güell in Barcelona was echt een magische ervaring. Het park is ontworpen door de beroemde architect Antoni Gaudí en voelt alsof je een sprookje binnenstapt. De kleurrijke mozaïeken, kronkelende paden en unieke architectonische vormen creëren een sfeer die zowel artistiek als vredig is. Een van de hoogtepunten voor mij was het iconische terras met de lange serpentine bank bedekt met levendige tegels - het uitzicht over Barcelona vanaf daar is gewoonweg adembenemend. Ik vond het ook leuk om door de schaduwrijke stenen zuilen te lopen en verborgen hoekjes vol charme te ontdekken. Het park is niet alleen mooi, maar ook inspirerend en weerspiegelt Gaudí's creativiteit en verbondenheid met de natuur. Het is een must-see attractie die kunst, architectuur en ontspanning combineert op één onvergetelijke plek.

Hallo, wij waren in Park Güell in augustus 2025. We vonden vooral het uitzicht op het park mooi. Het is prachtig. Wat we niet leuk vonden was de audiogids. Omdat het park verschillende ingangen heeft, kwamen we via de verkeerde ingang binnen en de volgorde van de uitleg klopte niet. Dit zou verbeterd moeten worden. Bij Casa Battlo was het beter met de borden. Hartelijk dank.

Een geweldig park dat de kunst van Gaudi in vele facetten weergeeft. Helaas is er een gebrek aan catering, vooral drankjes, om je langer op de been te houden.

The ticket also includes exclusive access to the press box which offers great views of the mammoth stadium, along with the museum, the ground, the tunnel, and of course, the 'Messi Area'.

Even though the Park Güell project, which was originally intended to be a residential park for aristocrats, was never fully completed, the Park itself is a stunning example of Gaudí's unique imagination and architectural prowess. With quirky elements such as columns that look like palm-tree trunks, a serpentine bench, a smiling dragon stretched in the middle of a divided stairway, the park is a playful blend of nature and architecture.
Park Güell is easily one of the most popular attractions in Barcelona, receiving over 5 million visitors annually. With a limited number of people allowed within each scheduled time slot for entry, we suggest you book in advance to get tickets at the most convenient time for you.
Note: Residents of the neighborhoods adjacent to Park Güell (El Coll, Vallcarca-Penitents, La Salut, El Carmel, Can Baró, and Baix Guinardó) and holders of the registered Gaudir Més enjoy free access from 7am to 9:30am (from July 1 to August 31) and from 8pm to 10pm. However, touristic visits are not allowed during the mentioned time slots.

The new regulation plan takes into account the needs of local residents in the neighborhoods adjacent to Park Güell (El Coll, Vallcarca-Penitents, La Salut, El Carmel, Can Baró, and Baix Guinardó) and guarantees them unrestricted access free of charge to all the year-round to enjoy the area. To enter the park, they will need to have a Neighbor or Gaudir Més card, which may be requested by the entrance staff.

Exploring Park Güell involves a lot of walking, given that its architectural features include uneven paths and multiple steps. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and carrying a bottle of water.

For visitors with mobility problems, Park Güell offers two free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability). The tourist coach car park has three places for people with reduced mobility.

Pro tip: There are three entrances that allow you to enter Park Guell and they are located at Av. del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya (which you access by going up an escalator and even then it's pretty steep), and Carretera del Carmel, nº 23 (where the parking lot for coaches is located). If you wish to avoid a lot of climbing and stairs, take public transport (Bus #24) or a taxi to get to the entrance at Carretera del Carmel, which will be a mere 100 meters from the bus stop and the area with the monuments is just 100 meters inside the park from the gates. This 200-meter walk is mostly flat.
Restrictions
All the recognizable and famous portions of Park Güell are located in a zone that includes lots of uphill climbs and stairs so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Access to the park is regulated in order to renovate and preserve this portion of the Park.
