What to expect
The music: The night belongs to Gamboa. He's been doing this on the island since 1990, and Vintage, born at Pacha in 2011, now in its 16th season at Lío, is the project where he distills all of it. Expect Balearic House the way it was meant to sound: warm, vocal-led, full of those '90s anthems that made Pacha famous, threaded with contemporary cuts that keep the floor honest. A crazy rotating lineup of guest DJs and Vintage residents flanks him each Friday, but Gamboa is always at the helm, pulling the room through a set that genuinely feels like a tribute to Ibiza's golden years.
The venue: Lío Ibiza
Lío sits on Paseo Juan Carlos I inside Marina Ibiza, with Dalt Vila's lit-up old town glowing directly across the water. Capacity hovers around 1,000 in a single ringed room with VIP tables wrapping the floor and a terrace that catches the harbour. Cabaret-restaurant earlier in the evening, full club from 1am, shutters at 6am. Twenty-minute walk from Ibiza Town, taxi rank one minute from the entrance, valet on-site.
