With more than 20 state-of-the-art exhibits and an authentic speakeasy tavern, this is not your average "dry museum". American Prohibition Museum brings the roaring twenties back to life by highlighting a time of flappers, bootlegging, and gangsters. The museum transports visitors back to the early 1900s when anti-alcohol protests swept the nation, and America's battle with alcohol came to the forefront, using cutting-edge technology and immersive exhibits.

The speakeasy bar, Congress Street Up, is currently closed.

Only guests aged 21 and above are permitted in the speakeasy when the bar is open.

Food and drink are not permitted in the museum in the galleries prior to the Speakeasy.
