    The site is very well laid out with excellent descriptions of the key monuments and related history. The staff were all friendly and there's a nice cafe to wait in if you are early for your booked visit (as we were). It's also easy to get to by public transport.

    Not so much. The information whas often superficial, yet boring, as there was to much advertising and giving directions (which were still not very helpful and one had to use the map anyways) The map was helpful though and the information that were actually content also :)

    Audio guide in Italian, intuitive, complete and not long-winded. The experience in Knossos was very positive and we will repeat it to visit the monuments of Athens!

    Knossos Palace Archaeological Site is well worth the visit. Great history! Things to remember. It is very hot! Take lots of water. The audio tour it comes with is very good, however, the path you walk on is not well marked so it took longer than expected. They need better marked paths to get from one exhibit to another, and some exhibits were closed and I didn't know it beforehand.

    In case you do not have the opportunity to have a guide, the audio guide is a good solution. Accurate with the directions of the route to be followed.
