Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka
Post the mountain's visual treat, the tour heads to Lake Kawaguchi, the largest of the renowned Fuji Five Lakes. Known for its mirror-like water reflecting an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji, the lake is a photographer's paradise. Boat rides, cultural sites, and scenic walks along the shore, subtly narrate the tales of the lake's deep-rooted heritage. The tour's final stop is at the highest of the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Yamanaka. The lake, also known as 'Swan Lake', offers you a dip into natural hot springs while you bask in the picturesque views of Mt. Fuji and the distant Mt. Hakone. Interestingly, the name 'Swan Lake' originates from the swans seeking warmth during the colder months. The winter also witnesses the awe-inspiring 'Swan Lake' ice sculpture festival, a sight that’s not to be missed. Due to weather reasons, we will only go to Mount Fuji 5th station during the itinerary from April 26 to September 30. At other times, we will go to Arakurayama Sengen Park.
