  • Getting started

    Meet your guide at the Anthropology Museum entrance at 8:50am. Depending on the variant selected, your tour may begin with a day trip to Teotihuacán or continue into the Pre-Hispanic walking tour.

    Day 1: Teotihuacán (If Selected)

    • Travel to the Teotihuacán pyramids by shared round-trip transfer from Mexico City.
    • Explore the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and other ceremonial spaces from early morning before crowds arrive.
    • Learn about the ancient city’s design, murals, and ceremonial purpose from your guide.

    Day 2: Pre-Hispanic Mexico City

    • Begin at the Museum of Anthropology, which houses the largest collection of Mesoamerican relics in the world.
    • View highlights like the Aztec Sun Stone, the mask of King Pakal, and the statue of Coatlicue.
    • Continue by public transportation with your guide to Mexico City’s downtown.
    • Walk along Alameda Park, past the Palace of Fine Arts, Casa de los Azulejos, and more.
    • End the tour with a deep dive into Aztec and colonial layers at the Templo Mayor Museum.

    Accessibility

    • Anthropology Museum is wheelchair accessible
    • Templo Mayor and downtown walking sections have uneven paths
    • Teotihuacán has many steps and steep surfaces, not ideal for those with mobility issues

    • A metro ticket is included for day 2 (Pre-Hispanic tour)
    • Free entry for children aged 0 to 2
    • Endpoints may differ slightly based on group pace and flow
