Aug 20265/5Stephanie was a fantastic guide. The tour didn’t feel rushed at all—in fact, it went closer to three hours. She was super enthusiastic (it rubbed off on us), spoke perfect English, and was very mindful about safety, which we noticed some other guides weren’t. We got to see loads: mammals, birds, and a surprising amount of insects (still don’t know how Stephanie managed to spot some of them!). Our small group made everything easy. She also showed us how to use the scope for awesome phone photos, which helped a lot. Parking was included and felt totally safe and organized—you just leave them your keys. Bonus: you can pay for parking by card if you forget cash. Would recommend Stephanie if you can book her!Sep 20265/5We picked the small group option (5-7 people), which was ideal for getting all the explanations and having entry included. The price was similar to what the park charges, but we didn’t have to mess with the online booking site, which is a pain. Our guide, Luis Roberto, was super helpful and kind, and we saw so many animals with his help. Honestly, I’d say go with a pro, otherwise you’ll probably just spot monkeys. If you can, go around 7:30am—the animals are way more active then since it’s cooler, after that it gets hot and harder to see much.Sep 20265/5We had the best day out at Manuel Antonio National Park. Luis Roberto guided us and was just fantastic—he knew so much, made sure everyone understood (switching between English and Spanish easily), and kept things interesting the whole way. We got to see monkeys, sloths, tons of reptiles and insects, even caught some great crab shots. All the animal sightings he promised really happened! His ability to spot wildlife is unreal. Thanks Luis Roberto for the tour and the awesome photos to remember it!Sep 20265/5Took this tour and would totally suggest it. Luis Roberto, our guide, really knew all about the different animals and could find them just by some sound in the bushes. His explanations were clear, too. Ticket for the park is included, and I thought the price was totally fair. Two hours for the guided walk felt just right, then you can explore solo if you want. Since it was the off season, barely anyone was around, which I loved—it wasn’t crowded at all. The beaches in the park are beautiful too!Aug 20265/5Had a really engaging tour. Our guide, Juan Roberto, started off telling us we’d see plenty of animals and he delivered on that—spotted way more wildlife than I expected. Got loads of info about both the creatures around us and some background on the park itself. The last part of the walk led to an awesome lookout over the peninsula, which was a highlight. Definitely think it’s worth checking out.
