This place is as billed. special. The entry was easy. The parking free. The building and grounds well maintained. For flower lovers , the outside gardens were lovely but the flowers highlight were the original , highly artistic ,fresh arrangements , that dressed every room. They themselves were spectacular . The history of the chateau was also well laid out . Would highly recommend .

We had bought our tickets online, which allowed us quick access to the Castle. There is plenty of parking near the entrance, and it is well-signposted. We took the guided tour, which was very interesting. The guide really managed to take us back in time. The interior of the Castle is very well preserved, and the gardens are magnificent. A complete change of scenery.

A chateau that spans the Cher from one bank to the other... This is the main feature of this chateau. Surrounded by very flowery gardens, you constantly want to press the shutter button to take just one more photo... The sky was blue, dotted with small white clouds that made the chateau stand out even more...

Easy parking, free and close to the entrance. The castle is nice, not one of the best, but the gardens are truly amazing. The visit is very pleasant and fun. The mix of flowers and vegetables in the main garden is very interesting.

There was no line at our arrival time. We purchased tickets easily online on the day of our visit. The gardens were lovely. Beautiful flowers inside and out. Appreciated English version of information. The booklet explaining each room was very informative.

A very interesting castle, especially for its variety: it combines four wings built in different styles into a single building, from Gothic to Renaissance and Classicism. The external double-helix staircase is beautiful, as are the richly decorated apartments.

We went to explore the Château de Chambord with my girlfriend and we simply loved it—the exterior of the castle, its gardens, and then the interior, which is also magnificent.

The two castles we visited were spectacular, each with its own unique features. Chambord. Inside, the video presentation—in French but completely understandable—was a highlight. The garden didn’t look as good as expected due to the heat, but the castle more than made up for it. Parking costs 8 euros. You can spend 3–4 hours there. Chenonceaux Castle. Its gardens far surpass the castle itself. It’s worth visiting just to see them. Parking is free. The castle, of course, has its own charm and is spread out beyond the central complex into pavilions such as the Science Pavilion and the Pharmacy Pavilion. There are also gardens of medicinal plants and a very well-maintained vegetable garden with water fountains for both the garden and the visitors. Both are highly recommended. And with the mobile ticket, it’s very easy to enter without waiting in line at the ticket office. However, if you want a self-guided tour, you must purchase it at the ticket office before entering the grounds.

The visit to Chenonceau Castle was simply wonderful! The castle is impressive, and its location over the water makes it truly unique. The lovingly tended gardens are also well worth seeing and invite you to take a relaxing stroll. The tickets worked without a hitch, and the entire visit was well organized. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!

The castle is impressive; you can tour it in 3–4 hours. The introductory video is particularly noteworthy, as it explains the castle’s history under the patronage of King Francis I, a great hunter and architecture enthusiast. Also worth noting is the collection of buttons featuring animal motifs, as the king was passionate about hunting. The staircase designed by Leonardo da Vinci is impressive.
