We really enjoyed the absolutely fantastic and very different architecture of both castles. Chambord: the staircase and the exhibition on World War II. Chenonceau: the gardens, the paintings, and the exhibition on the ladies who ruled the castle. Both castles: The snack bars could use a few more staff members and a much smaller selection of drinks to speed things up.
    • Unlock the wonders of this combo ticket—explore Chenonceau Castle and two more castles of your choice. A ticket that is flexible and time-saving.

    • At Chenonceau, walk through the halls once graced by the powerful women of French history—Catherine de Medici and Diane de Poitiers.

    • Step into the valley's biggest castle—Chambord to explore over 60 rooms and climb the da Vinci-inspired double helix staircase, which allows two visitors to ascend and descend simultaneously, without crossing paths.

    • Visit da Vinci's final residence (1516-1519) at Clos Luce, which is now restored and converted into a museum dedicated to his life, art, and inventions.

    • Pay homage to da Vinci's tomb at the Chapel of Saint-Hubert, located within the Amboise castle. This castle was particularly favored by the French kings as a royal residence.

    • If you're visiting between April and November, attend the International Garden Festival at Chaumont, where global landscape designers come together to create 30 theme-based gardens.

We experienced a very organized purchase and entry process. The walk through the gardens was so beautiful. Every room in the chateau was spectacular with the added descriptions providing key historical moments.

Easy access to the castle with the digital tickets. We had to wait about 20 minutes, but that was just enough time to walk to the castle.

We bought our tickets in advance and had separate access to the castle. It was a great deal. The castle is very beautiful and large. Best regards
