The experience was fun. A bit tricky to get here from Paris, but both the chateau and house were amazing. The only problem was that the Chateau was much further away then the castle and the house of Davinci, and nobody could offer a solution on how to get there. It was only after we arrived at the cheaeau by uber, that we discovered the train that take you into town does in fact go to the chateau, however we went to Davinci's house first, so we discovered that too late. Other than that, everything was smooth sailing.

Its a most beautiful castle . Built and designed as a joyous dream. Though planned and paid by kings and aristocracy we can admire it today from inside and outside, including the beautiful gardens that surround it. Unlike some other castles you can enter the permisses and savor the beauty, walk or ride bikes around without the fèe for entering the castle if you don't want to or you are short in time. I loved the explanations though the table was heavy and didn't add much. The headphones were enough.

Chenonceaux Castle and gardens were fantastic, it was a very crowded day however they gave everyone a time slot for the Castle so although it was packed people still had plenty of room and time to see everything. Entry price was very reasonable, there are boats and a challenging Maze. Food was excellent and the dining areas were very clean with plenty of staff who were all very friendly.

I had always heard about Chambord Castle (and the liquor). It was GREAT to finally be able to visit and tour the Chateau and Gardens. I've always loved architecture and Chambord is truly a masterpiece! Ticket buying was easy and price reasonable. Parking ample and Information Center and Gift Shop were very accommodating.

Chenencou cadtke as intriguing and lovely as described. It was our favorite castle of all that we visited. We paired it with a visit to Clos Luce. Leonardo was truly a genius. This was a magnificent day.

The chateau is magnificent, the different rooms are very pretty but lack furniture. The sun was out, making the gardens even more pleasant.

As the second most-visited castle in France (after Versailles), Chenonceau receives an annual footfall of 1.3 million visitors every year. On a self-guided tour, explore the Medici Gallery which spans the Cher River, admire a unique collection of artwork that includes paintings and tapestries from the 16th to18th centuries, and enjoy a relaxing stroll in the manicured gardens of Catherine Medici and Diane Poitiers.

    Chambord Castle

The largest castle in the Loire Valley, Chambord boasts 440 rooms, 365 fireplaces, and a 13,400-acre park. On a self-guided visit, explore over 60 rooms, climb the famed staircase, and spend leisure time in the park.

    Amboise Castle

Overlooking the Loire River, this castle was the favored residence among the royals during the French Renaissance. Besides a glimpse into the grandeur of French history, the castle is also the final resting place of da Vinci.

    Clos Luce Castle

As the last residence of da Vinci, he brought with him The Mona Lisa, The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne, and Saint John the Baptist. Although these pieces eventually moved out, the castle remains home to some of the artist's innovative inventions including the tank, catapult, and flying machine.

    Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the castle is most famous for the annual International Garden Festival (Apr-Nov) which sees 30 magnificent gardens created by teams of artists, architects, and designers. Additionally, there are contemporary art exhibitions too which draw a significant crowd.

    Royal Chateau of Blois

It is famously referred to as the Gateway to the Loire Valley castles, owing to its ease of access from Paris. A favored residence among the royals, this castle has been home to seven kings and ten queens of France and is also one of the few castles to remain fully furnished and decorated—truly a historical site.
