Langkawi Cable Car Tickets

The views from the Langkawi Cable Car and SkyBridge are absolutely beautiful and the experience itself was one of the highlights of our visit. We did have a difficult start. I accidentally bought tickets for Malaysian citizens instead of international visitors, which meant our tickets were not valid. This was my mistake and I understood that they were non-refundable. We bought new international tickets online, but were then told it could take up to two hours before they became active. Travelling together as a family, this naturally made things a little complicated. What stood out to me was the way the staff handled the situation. They genuinely tried to help us and eventually managed to get everything sorted out. We could finally go up and enjoy the cable car, SkyBridge and the fantastic views. A big thank you to the staff for making the effort to help us!

As a civil engineer i am truly amazed at the design and construction of the support structure of the pedestrian bridge. The smooth ride in the cable car up to the peak was so steep making it an unforgettable experience. However the connection between the cable car and the pedestrian Bridge via the sky glide leave much to be desired as the waiting period for the glide was agonisingly long and tiring especially for the older folks and parents with babies in arms. Im sure there are solutions.

We found Headout easy to use. We were waiting to see what the weather was before purchasing our tickets, and appreciated the flexibility of having this option. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Langkawi Sky Walk and Cable. There isn't a lot of shelter so make sure you are prepared for the heat. We finished our day with a Cekguu's ice cream sundae!

It saves time that would otherwise be wasted at the ticket counters; once we arrived, we were given wristbands for each activity. All you have to do is scan the QR code to access it.

We purchased the Combo (Save 3%): Underwater World + Langkawi Cable Car Tickets through Headout for our family group of 16 adults and 2 children. The booking process was straightforward, although there is a maximum 10 tickets per purchase. After purchasing, we still needed to exchange the voucher at the ticket counter for entry tickets/QR wristbands. Underwater World Langkawi was relatively uncrowded with no waiting time. There was a good variety of attractions including penguins, nurse sharks, arapaima, and many other aquatic species. The facility was wheelchair-accessible, making it convenient for family members with mobility needs. The Langkawi Cable Car experience was much busier. We had to wait approximately 3 hours before boarding due to the large crowds. However, the breathtaking views from the top made it worthwhile. We spent about 15 minutes at each stop, enjoying the scenery and taking photos. The cable car facilities and viewing areas were generally wheelchair-accessible, which was a big plus for our family. Overall, despite the long wait for the cable car, it was a memorable family experience and the combo ticket offered good value for money. Suitable for families of all ages, including elderly visitors and wheelchair users.
