was visiting Hawaii for a spontaneous vacation.. didn't have much time to book anything in advance and the Kualoa Ranch was a must on my agenda. unfortunately all the self UTV tours where book for the week i was here.. but i was able to find a guide UTV tour and WoW glad i did. i was spectacle about the guided tour but let me say it was worth it, our tour guide was WELL informed and educated on the Kualoa Ranch and was amazing at giving us all his knowledge as we ride with him well the rest of the group are in there individual UTV 100% recommend and was able to find last min tixs on Headout website

10/10 would do it again! We came for the views and somehow left feeling like professional race car drivers. The UTV was insane, the scenery was unreal, and our guide made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the highlights of Hawaii!

We absolutely loved our experience at Kualoa Ranch. From the moment we checked in, the entire staff was welcoming, friendly and fun, and our tour guides made the experience even better. The UTV tour was such a great way to explore such an iconic part of Hawaii and take in the incredible scenery and natural beauty of the ranch. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we won’t forget.

We really enjoyed taking the Raptor tour and seeing all of scenery in the nature preserve. I loved learning more about the native plants and seeing some of the famous movie sites. It's such a unique and beautiful place to visit! We had a great time with our guides, Sarah and Eden. They were super fun, informative, and we could tell how much they loved the park.

Getting started

Arrive at the Ticket Office 45 minutes before your tour for check-in. Sign the liability waiver and complete your training & safety briefing before starting your UTV Raptor tour.

What to expect

UTV Raptor Tour

A 2-hour tour that takes you across popular filming locations as you off-road on your UTV on the rugged terrain.

Features

Take the wheel: Drive your own multi-passenger UTV Raptor as your guide leads the way into the valleys.

Kaʻaʻawa (Jurassic) Valley, Kualoa, and Hakipuʻu: These valleys are famous filming locations used in over 200 Hollywood movies and TV shows across 75 years.

Adventure on the trail: Tackle dirt roads, bumpy paths, and seasonal stream crossings for a true off-road experience.

Step into Hollywood: Visit actual film sites from Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, and dozens of other productions.

Safety first: Helmets are provided, and a short training and briefing get you ready before you set out.

Ride-along option: Upgrade to the Ride-Along UTV Raptor Tour, sit back and enjoy the ride, and capture picture-perfect moments on your adventure.

What to bring

A government-issued photo ID is required at check-in.

Closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety.

Wear comfortable outdoor clothing and bring sunglasses.

Pack a spare set of clothes in case of rain.

What’s not allowed

Expectant mothers are advised not to participate.

Guests with neck, back, or recurring injuries should not join this tour.

Driving is not permitted without a valid driver’s license.

Accessibility

Riders must be at least 5 years old, and drivers must be at least 21 years old.

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times.

This is a bumpy off-road experience and may not be suitable for everyone.

Guests who do not meet requirements at check-in will not be allowed to continue.

Tours run in all weather conditions.

A signed liability waiver is required before departure.
