This was my first time in Turkey, and I wanted an authentic experience, a real taste of the culture, not just a checklist of sights. Zeynep delivered exactly that. Her passion for the food and her culture came through in everything she did, and from the very start she made us feel like friends, not tourists on a tour. The food was delicious and abundant, I came with a big appetite and still couldn’t finish it all! She went above and beyond throughout, and I can’t recommend this experience enough, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Zeynep as your guide. 😊

Ho prenotato quest'esperienza principalmente per poter assistere al rito dei dervisci: viaggiando da solo avevo invece qualche riserva sulla cena che sarebbe seguita. Zey, la nostra guida, si è rivelata non solo preparata, premurosa e attenta, ma anche in grado di creare gruppo da subito. Sorridente tutto il tempo. Ottima esperienza e cena meravigliosa.

Tour was well organised and the guide started a WhatsApp group which is a great idea to help meet up . A few local snacks then off to the Dervish performance which is a must see then onto dinner at the oldest restaurant in Istanbul . Food was excellent and Zeynep really made the evening with her local knowledge and engaging personality , a fine example of Turkish hospitality !

It was exceptional experience and Şule 🐈‍⬛ our guide was very knowledgeable about it And The restaurant selection was amazing.

Went with my partner last night and honestly, we’re still talking about it at breakfast. The food stops were DELICIOUS (like, I never thought I’d crave pickled veggies but here we are lol). Our guide, Ipek, was super chill and shared loads about Istanbul’s history without making it feel lecture-y. The dervish ceremony was honestly mesmerizing—felt like I blinked and 40 mins had gone. Dinner at the end was a real family vibe, and we even got a little surprise dessert for my girlfriend’s birthday. Only thing: bring cash for some of the snack stands, not all take card!

Our family (me, husband, 2 kids) LOVED this tour! Didn’t expect kids (9 and 12) to enjoy so much, but they were totally into the dervish show and even tried all the foods (they’re picky at home, go figure). Our guide, Selim, had fun facts and even some cat treats for the kids to hand out—such a nice touch. Dinner was super cozy, and we left stuffed.

Begin with the Mevlevi Sema ceremony, a 60-minute spiritual performance where dervishes whirl in a meditative rhythm accompanied by live Sufi music. The ritual symbolizes a journey toward inner harmony and divine connection. After the ceremony, head to a historic family-run restaurant where you’ll enjoy a traditional Turkish dinner featuring a variety of regional dishes, offering a complete 2.5 hours of cultural experience.
