The guided walking tour at the St Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel was memorable. Simona, our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. She answered all our questions and gave us a lot of interesting facts during the tour. The bluetooth headset used was also audibly clear and comfortable to wear although it does work outside a certain range away from our guide. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. We took the early morning tour at 7:15am. We went first to the basilica. I highly rexommend this tour as there were less people when we entered the church and I was personally awestruck and bewildered as I entered. Simona gave us a few minutes to explore by ourselves. It was a magnificent church and full of history. When we were at the end of the tour, it was almost 12 noon. We went out and saw a very long queue of people. Taking the early tour was the best decision made.

Bogdan is a great guide, he made all the experience easy to keep up, interesting and funny. we liked his way to keep us together, in a good pace even for the elders, always giving history hints and knowledge with humour! Vatican museum and Cappella Sistina stand at their height of expectations for anyone who have never visited them, but better do this with guide if it's your first time visiting. We didn't had the chance to visit the basilica since it was Wednesday and every Wednesday there is a pop auditorium. Although we just visited the basilica next day on our own, no ticket needed just some queue waiting. Better try it late in the afternoon and before 19.00 nothing to complain about, except the really crowded and touristic vibe you bump on allover the city, but this is inevitable.

We did the full tour with a live guide of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peters Basilica (without guide). Our guide was amazing. She gave us so much insightful information that made everything that we saw so much more meaningful, and even more importantly walked us past all the people waiting to a special line for tours that got us right in, then down a special passage between the Sistine Chapel & St Peters Basilica that also avoided any wait. I wish that she would have continued on with us into the Basilica as we did see other live guides there...not sure why that wasn't included for the price we paid, but it was still well worth it.

Obviamente el recorrido es fascinante. El tour cumple con lo que promete. Evitás las largas filas filas en la entrada. En 5 minutos pasaste lis controles y estás recorriendo esas maravillas. El guía que nos tocó, Carmelo, un 10. Claro, simpático, pendiente de cada detalle. En mi grupo había una familia con cocchecito de bebé los guío por otros pasillos para mayor comodidad pero siempre mantuvo al grupo junto. Nos contaba a menudo para que nadie se extraviada. Totalmente recomendado. Su guía fue esencial para entender la historia y notar detalles que de otra forma te perderías

Our tour guide Nicola did a fantastic job. Thank you! He knew the Museum and the Chapel to the core and could at any moment illustrate and entertain with stories and explanations. The only downside was that on Wednesdays the Basilica is closed in the mornings because of the general audience which was (as far as I remember) not marked on the website when I booked the tour. Otherwise, great service and perfect organization. Thank you, Headout an City Wonders.

We did the guided Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel with Saint Peter's Basilica. Our guide was Vincenzo and he was very knowledgeable and informative. We skipped all the long lines and we could tell he knew exactly what to do to get us in and around everyone. The tour did feel a little rushed but I believe that was due to security at the Vatican rather then our tour guide, I know they kept telling us that we could not stop. Everything was very beautiful. Make sure you bring a pen so that you can fill out a postcard at the end and mail it out from the Vatican for your loved ones at home. Definitely recommend a guided tour..

The quality of the tour guides were incredible. High level of professionality and incredible patience with a group that really should have stuck together a little better than we did. While the tour definitely felt rehearsed, doing it only once doesn't make that big of a difference. I would 100% recommend the tour to anyone to do it once.

Our guide was terrific from the introduction to the very end. Her style, humor , the depth of knowledge and energy were all impressive. I am sure that every one of us learned something that we didn't know, in wish she played a significant role. I would absolutely recommend Headout and CityWonders as guides.
