Il tour vale i soldi spesi. Non è economico rispetto all ingresso standard ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. La nostra esperienza è stata super positiva fin dal messaggino di Massimo che ci chiedeva se avevamo difficoltà nel trovare il luogo di ritrovo alla guida Antonella che ci ha magistralmente guidato nelle varie stanze dei musei vaticani dandoci molti dettagli e curiosità e rispondendo a tutte le nostre domande. Grazie all questi biglietti abbiamo saltTo tutta la fila ed abbiamo sempre avuto una corsia preferenziale. Assolutamente consigliato

Wir hatten mit Paula eine großartige Zeit - ihr Wissen und ihre Art, uns alles komprimiert und dennoch detailliert zu erklären waren einfach toll. Es gab keine Wartezeit und trotz vieler Menschen in den Museen, konnten wir aufgrund ihrer Ortskenntnis alles sehen und wurden fantastisch hindurchgelotst. Die beste Führung, die wir je hatten - danke Paula 🙌🏻

I intially had a morning tour and was bumped to the afternoon for unknown reasons explained to me. It was a fortunate that I did not have anything planned. The tour was good although at times it was hard to hear, even with the headsets, as it was very busy. The guide was knowledgeable, offered interesting facts, and had a good sense of humor. Nicely done.

Vatican City is truly an amazing experience, and our gudie did a great job of guiding us to points of interest (you'd need months or years to see everything). There is an incredible amount of artwork to be found, from sculptures and antiquities to frescos, tapestries, and paintings. Don't forget to look up... the artwork on the ceilings is stunning! The cistine chapel was the highlight (no photos allowed in there), and our guide pointed out some fascinating facts before we entered. Highly recommend.

Valentina was our tour guide and she was awesome! Always made sure the group was together, checked on everyone to make sure no one was too hot, and provided a wealth of information about the tour. It was worth the money we paid and we will recommend it to our friends!

What didn't we love? We are all still talking about it. We weren't overly excited originally to have a guide, but we are so glad we got the guide we did. He was one of nicest people we've met on our travels and his knowledge and humor just made the tour one to remember.

St. Peter’s Basilica may be closed on Wednesday mornings and afternoons as the Papal Audience takes place in St. Peter’s Square. If you’re considering visiting St. Peter's Basilica, please make plans for another day.

Please note: All guests must pass through airport-style security. During high season and peak hours, the wait time at the security check may be up to 30-45 minutes.

Your ticket has a designated entry time—please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.

Sometimes guides are not allowed to give tours inside the St. Peter's Basilica. On such rare occasions, they will share a brief introduction outside and you'll be free to explore the basilica by yourself.

Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica are active places of worship, some areas may be subject to sudden closures without prior notice.

Expect a long wait at security, especially during peak times. Patience is key, it could take up to an hour!

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel, may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies or unforeseen circumstances. St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.

St. Peter’s Basilica may be closed on Wednesday mornings and afternoons due to the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square. If you’d like to attend, book an exclusive invitation with guaranteed seating.

Since the Jubilee is underway, access to St. Peter's Basilica is now restricted at all entrances. To ensure entry, reservations must be completed at least 5 days in advance.

Please note the special closures of the Sistine Chapel in January 2026:

3 January (Saturday): Closed from 2pm, with last admission at 1pm.

9 January (Friday): Closed all day.

10 January (Saturday): Closed from 1pm, with last admission at 12pm.

The Vatican Museums will remain open as usual on these dates.

Note: Michelangelo’s Last Judgement will undergo maintenance until March 2026. While the Sistine Chapel remains open, views of the fresco may be partially obstructed by scaffolding.
