Notre avis ne concernera pas l'intérêt du musée ni la grande valeur artistique, historique et patrimoniale de la chapelle Sixtine, reconnus et appréciés dans le monde entier. En revanche nous voudrions insister sur la gentillesse et la qualité profesionnelle de la guide en français de la visite du vendredi 2 octobre à 13 h. En effet, notre visite venait de commencer avec les explications de la guide sur la chapelle Sixtine lorsque mon épouse a été victime d'un malaise et a perdu connaissance. S'en étant rendu compte la guide est aussitôt intervenue pour demander un fauteuil roulant et l'assistance d'un médecin avant de pénétrer dans le musée avec son groupe. Bien sûr nous n'avons pas fait la visite ce jour là avec elle, même si après l'intervention du médecin à l'infirmerie ma femme se sentait mieux. Cependant, grâce à la compréhension des policier présents, nous avons pu revenir le lendemain, sans faire la queue pour pénétrer dans le batiment. Très touchés par la gentillesse et l'efficacité des personnes qui nous ont aidées, nous tenions à vous faire ce témoignage. Nous sommes évidement repassés à l'agence pour remercier Headout et signaler ce qui nous était arrivé. Jean MINO

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Una experiencia maravillosa gracias a PAOLA LOCCI. Hizo el tour por el Vaticano de una manera excepcional, explicando todo con muchísima claridad y, sobre todo, con una gran emoción y pasión que consiguió transmitirnos durante toda la visita. Se nota que disfruta de lo que hace y que conoce perfectamente la historia y cada detalle de los lugares que nos enseñó. Fue una visita muy amena, interesante y especial. Sin duda, recomendamos a Paola al 100 %. ¡Muchas gracias por hacernos disfrutar tanto de esta experiencia!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and great about keeping the tour moving through the exhibits and making sure we caught the pieces that were truly significant. She was great at explaining the exhibits and their meanings. There were a few thousand people flowing through the museum, but I never felt lost in the madness. It would have been great to stay and explore more after the tour was over but our time, my son 's and mine, was already tight.

We booked the skip the line guided tour and Marta was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming. There is so much to see at the Vatican, it is impossible to do it all in one day. I would also recommend climbing the top of St Peters Basilica (this is an extra charge of 10 euros if you don't mind climbing the 500+ steps or 15 euros if you want to get the lift and cut out the first 200 steps. )

Our guide led us safely through the long queue, which we were able to skip as a group. Our group was small, 8 adults and one teenager. Rita explained the paintings and exhibits to us and brought us safely into the Sistine Chapel. A wonderful moment for us with the magnificent paintings on the ceiling and walls. En nuestra visita tuvimos como guía a Giuseppe (si no me equivoco), se notaba que le apasionaba lo que nos estaba contando y además disfrutaba con ello. Fue muy amable y cordial, teniendo en cuenta que uno de los integrantes del grupo tuvo problemas con la entrada y se propuso ayudarlo. La visita fue espectacular, al inicio del recorrido, antes de entrar a los museos se paró a explicarnos con detalle lo que veriamos en la capilla sixtina y en que debíamos fijarnos, ya que él no entraría con nosotros y además no se permite hablar. Si tuviera que poner una pega es que con tanta genta no da tiempo de disfrutar de las explicaciones que da el guía, pero eso no implica que él no se esfuerce por que se le entienda y resuelva las posibles dudas que tengamos. Definitivamente, cuando vuelva repetiré con vosotros, gracias por la increíble experiencia.

I booked the guided tour for the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel through Headout, and everything went perfectly. The meeting point was easy to find, and the staff was very welcoming. The biggest advantage was the Skip-the-Line access — the regular queues outside were massive, but we got inside very quickly.Our local guide was exceptional: passionate, fluent, and full of engaging stories about the history behind the Gallery of Maps and the Belvedere Courtyard. The tour concluded in the spectacular Sistine Chapel, where the explanations we received beforehand helped us truly appreciate Michelangelo's genius. I highly recommend Headout for a stress-free visit to the Vatican!

Esperienza fantastica e da fare almeno una volta nella vita. Il biglietto del tour ti permette di saltare la fila ed accedere ai musei rapidamente. La ns guida, Susanna, preparatissima, ci ha fatto appassionare ancora di più a tutta la bellezza vista all' interno dei musei Vaticani oltre ad averci spiegato benissimo la cappella Sistina. La cappella Sistina lascia senza fiato, è una meraviglia. Consiglio vivamente

Es war sehr beeindruckend. Wir freuten uns über den schnellen Einlass. Die Führung war sehr reizend, auch wenn man ihr Englisch nicht immer voll verstand. Ich rate allen sich nach der Führung noch viel Zeit für eigene Entdeckungen zu nehmen, dass hatten wir nicht. Ansonsten ist es gut über die App zu buchen, man hat alles gut im Überblick.

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Big bags and suitcases aren't allowed inside the attraction, but guests can make use of the lockers on site.

When in Sistine Chapel, silence is mandatory and photography is prohibited. Guides will provide all necessary and interesting details before entry.

Photography and the use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Sistine Chapel.

Power banks are strictly prohibited inside the venue.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue, with the exception of guide dogs.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.

While the tour is not accessible, the Vatican Museums offer free tickets for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion.

Please note: All guests must pass through airport-style security. During high season and peak hours, the wait time at the security check may be up to 30 minutes.

Purchasing this tour implies an agreement to stick with the assigned guide, without whom you cannot access the Vatican Museums. Opting out or missing the tour means losing ticket rights, without refunds.

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies. Additionally, entrance to St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures.
