What's not allowed

All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the Uffizi entrance. The use of the cloakroom is free.

The following are not allowed at Uffizi: flash photography, outside food and drink, drones, pets (with the exception of service animals with advance notice).

Note that the tickets allow you to skip the ticketing lines and not the security checks.

Every first Sunday of the month, the Uffizi Gallery follows normal opening hours and entry is free for everyone.

Note: The time you choose while booking applies to entry into the Vasari Corridor. Entry to the Uffizi Gallery’s Statues and Paintings section is permitted up to 2 hours earlier, but must be done before your Corridor visit.

The Vasari Corridor is a one-way route and once you exit at the Buontalenti Grotto, re-entry is not allowed.

During the Vasari Corridor walk (30 minutes), the guide will not be allowed to explain but will follow you along the way, pointing out the sights and points of interest.
