Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I booked the Turkish bath in Sisli, but wow, it was SOOO nice. Went with my wife after a long flight and we both came out feeling like jelly (the relaxed kind, not the wobbly kind). The steam room felt almost too hot at first but you kinda get used to it, and then the scrub...felt like they were peeling off a year of stress. Laughed a bit at myself in the weird towel thing they give you, but it's all part of the vibe. The staff didn't speak loads of English but gestures and smiles go a long way. Only tiny thing – bring your own flip-flops if you can, theirs are a bit meh. 100% coming back next time we're in Istanbul.

Went as a solo traveler and felt totally safe. Staff is friendly and not pushy at all, which I appreciated. It did get kinda busy around 6pm, so I'd suggest going earlier if you can. The foam massage is next level. The only thing is you can't take photos inside (which is probably for the best, tbh, lol).

Took my mum for her birthday—she LOVED it! The marble room is beautiful, and the staff made her feel extra special. She keeps talking about the foam bubbles, haha. Pro tip: bring water, it gets HOT in there.

Really solid hammam experience. The scrub is intense (in a good way, but I was a bit red after). They give you everything you need. Only downside—the lockers are kinda small, so don't bring a big backpack.

Omg, this was my first Turkish bath and I think I’m obsessed now. My skin feels soooo smooth, seriously. Went with two friends and we couldn’t stop giggling during the massage part, it’s a little ticklish but in a fun way. It was a bit crowded but staff kept things moving. Will def do it again!

Your experience begins at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Istanbul City Center in the lively district of Şişli. After entering through the main hotel entrance, head to the spa reception to present your ID or passport and confirm your booking. The staff will welcome you and guide you to the hammam area, where you’ll receive slippers, towels, and basic spa amenities before changing and preparing for the ritual.

Relax in the hot room

The experience starts in the traditional heated marble hammam room, where you spend a few moments relaxing on the warm stone platform. The gentle heat helps open your pores and prepares your body for the cleansing ritual that follows.

Traditional kese scrub & foam massage

Next, a professional attendant performs the kese body scrub, a classic Turkish exfoliation technique that removes dead skin and stimulates circulation. This is followed by a luxurious foam massage, where clouds of soft soap bubbles are used to cleanse and relax the body in true hammam style.

Aromatherapy massage in a private room

After the hammam ritual, you’ll move to a private spa room for a soothing full-body aromatherapy massage. Warm oils and calming techniques help release tension, while a gentle head massage enhances the sense of relaxation.

Refresh & unwind

Your experience concludes with a quiet moment to relax and refresh. Enjoy traditional Turkish tea, homemade sherbet, and Turkish delight, allowing your body to cool down while you savor the final touches of this classic Turkish wellness ritual.

Please bring a valid photo ID or passport, which must be presented at reception during check-in.

What’s not allowed

Luggage or large bags are not permitted inside the hammam facilities.

Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited before and during the experience.

Accessibility

This experience is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, as the hammam facilities include heated marble surfaces and wet areas.

Pregnant women are not allowed, and guests with heart disease, diabetes, or asthma are advised not to use the hammam.

Children under 13 are not permitted in the hammam. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
