Incredible experience! Monet’s garden was in FULL bloom. Versailles is a must-see. Lunch at the mill was cozy. Guide was friendly.

Can’t believe how beautiful Monet’s garden is. Went in June, flowers EVERYWHERE. Guide (Jean) gave us cool stories about Monet’s cats (didn’t know he had cats). Versailles was shiny and big. Lunch was at an old mill with ducks waddling around—cute. A little hot, so bring hat/sunscreen.

Loved that we were able to explore at our own pace. It was raining in the morning, so the afternoon half day trip was ideal! Not many poeple were there, and it definitely felt like the right amount of time.

Went on a girls’ trip and this was the highlight. We spent hours just wandering, taking photos, and guessing which bits Monet painted. The staff in the house were so nice, even let us peek behind the roped-off area for a sec. Buy tickets ahead, the line for walk-ins looked brutal.

The day began early with a few hours in the van from Paris — a perfect opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Our guide, Nicholas, was exceptional. His deep knowledge extended far beyond World War II history; he also shared fascinating insights about the region’s nature, history and culture. He combined expertise with warmth and a great sense of humor, making the tour both engaging and enjoyable. Even though our teenagers understand English quite well, and our youngest speaks only a little, Nicholas managed to keep everyone interested and involved throughout the day. It was a long day, but every minute was worth it. A truly memorable, educational, and entertaining experience for the whole family. A perfect break from the intensity and bustle of Paris. 5/5 — without hesitation and a big thank you Nicholas!

Went solo and ended up chatting with everyone in the group by the end of the day. Jean (our guide) made sure we had time for questions at every stop, which was great. Cider tasting was so much fun—the owner is hilarious. Don’t skip the museum, even if you’re tired. Bring a small umbrella just in case, Normandy weather is unpredictable.

Best day of our trip to France! We did a self-guided walk, skipped the group tour, and just wandered at our own pace. Saw some artists painting in a hidden corner, super cool. It does get crowded but if you hang back after the main tour groups leave, it gets way quieter.
