Ayer mi marido y yo hicimos el tour por Pompeya y fue una experiencia fantástica. Inicialmente lo teníamos reservado en inglés, pero muy amablemente nos lo cambiaron a español en el último momento, algo que agradecimos muchísimo. Nuestro guía hizo que la visita fuera muy dinámica, entretenida y llena de información interesante. A pesar del intenso calor que hace en Pompeya, el tiempo se pasó volando y, sin darnos cuenta, ya habían pasado las dos horas del recorrido.

La experiencia ha sido muy buena, la ubicación para recoger los tickets no era exactamente donde nos conducía Google maps, pero había personas pendientes preguntando si íbamos con headout y enseguida nos dieronnlos tickets impresos. Después solo hemos tenido que pasar por la entrada evitando las colas. Y sobre Pompeya, nada que decir, hay que ir a verlo, es increíble que después de tantos años este tan bien conservado. Nos ha encantado la visita.

- Einzigartig gut erhaltene antike Stadt - Faszinierende Einblicke in das Alltagsleben der Römer - Beeindruckende Straßen, Villen, Fresken und Amphitheater -UNESCO-Welterbe mit großem historischem Wert - Im Sommer sehr heiß und oft überfüllt - Das Gelände ist riesig – für einen Besuch sollte man mindestens 4–6 Stunden einplanen - Teilweise unebene Wege, daher gutes Schuhwerk empfehlenswert

This was a amazing tour, I can definitely recommend. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and has worked on digs at Pompeii, so also has first hand experience. Well worth doing a guided tour for a couple of hours to see the main and popular areas and then staying on to explore other areas by yourself. It's so big and needs most of the day (even longer) to explore this amazing site.

Visiting Pompeii was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy, and our guide made the experience truly unforgettable. She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and brought the ancient city to life with fascinating stories and historical insights. The tour was well organized, the entry process was smooth, and there was plenty of time to explore and ask questions. I learned so much more than I would have on my own. Met head out naar Pompeï Vanaf het station was de entree goed aangegeven. Je hoeft niet te zoeken. Je moet eerst nog even langs de tourist office met je entree bewijs. Die vindt je aan de overkant. Ze printen je entreetickets uit en daarmee kun je naar Pompeï. Wel watertappunten in Pompeï maar geen horeca! Je moet dus zelf eten en drinken meenemen. Buiten de poort zijn cafes en restaurants. Een wc heb ik ook niet gevonden. Best raar eigenlijk

Absolutely fantastic experience! The meeting point was incredibly easy to find, and our guide was outstanding. Their knowledge of the site was exceptional, and the passion they had for sharing its history made the tour both fascinating and memorable. Arrive at the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance at your selected time and present your ticket for validation. Carry a valid photo ID; full names on bookings must match your ID. Expect a standard security check before entry.

Pompeii Archaeological Park

A UNESCO-listed Roman city frozen in time by Mount Vesuvius, known for its remarkably preserved streets, homes, and public spaces.

What to bring

Carry your earphones for an immersive audio guide experience. If you are given a physical audio guide, ensure you arrive prepared with wired earphones (3.5mm jack).

A moderate amount of walking is involved in this activity. Please wear comfortable shoes due to uneven terrain.

Full names are mandatory for Pompeii bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid Photo ID with you to gain entry.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: No discourteous clothing or shirtless attire is allowed inside Pompeii Archaeological Park.

Big dogs (above the weight 10kg and the height of 40cm) are not allowed into the venue. Guide dogs with the proper certification are welcome.

Accessibility

Pompeii has uneven ground and limited wheelchair access. Use the south-side entrances instead of the main one.

Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with impaired mobility and cardiac issues.

Tickets to the ruins are free of charge for disabled people and a companion, to be purchased directly on-site.

Additional information

Facilities: cloakroom, luggage storage. Head to the Superiore Entrance to make use of the onsite luggage facilities.

The fee for the excavation sites of Pompeii is free for all first Sundays of the month.

Children under 18 enjoy free entry with a valid ID.

If you’re an EU citizen aged 18-24, you can avail the ticket at €2.

The same discount applies if you’re a non-EU citizen with a valid Italian residence permit (for study, work, family reasons, etc., as recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
