  • What to bring

    • Bring a valid photo ID, especially if you are eligible for free admission (under 18, 65 and over, or visitors with disabilities and one attendant), as proof is required.

    • Bring your own smartphone and earphones if you wish to use the audio guide, as it is available via app download for an additional fee.

    • Consider bringing a small bag for personal belongings, as large bags may not be permitted.

    What’s not allowed

    • Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum for security reasons.

    • Meals and refreshments are not permitted inside the exhibition areas.

    • Pets are not allowed, except for registered service animals.

    • Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces.

    • Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

    Accessibility

    • The museum is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and elevators available throughout the building.

    • Accessible restrooms are available on site. Staff are trained to assist visitors with mobility needs.

    Additional information

    • Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.

    • The museum is closed on Mondays (except July 21, August 11, and September 15), and also closed on July 22, August 12, and September 16.

    • Night discount admission is available after 17:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

    • Free admission is offered on specified days: June 28, July 5, August 2, September 6, and October 4.

    • Free admission is offered to visitors under 18, seniors 65+, visitors with disabilities and one accompanying guest.

    • Audio guides are available for an extra charge of 300 yen via app download; please use your own device and earphones.

    • Group rates are available for groups of more than 20 people.

    • Exhibits and featured works are subject to change without notice.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.
