The whole experience was fantastic. The tour guide helped us get into the museum even though we had some trouble getting there. He was very kind. The museum itself was amazing, but the first aid staff were especially helpful when my wife started having health problems. We were very well taken care of and left the museum very happy. I definitely recommend it.

I am a great lover of history, so having the opportunity to visit the Museum was an indescribable experience. We are talking about a collection of 8 million items from all continents. It is impossible to measure how rich in history this place is. Despite this, I can list my favorite zones, which are the Greek World of Alexander the Great, the Assyrian zone, Rome, and Ancient Persia.

Our tour guide was great. Suggestions: meeting the tour guide was difficult - meet up directions should include things like on the outside museum steps after security check. Tour needs to be I hour longer and because it's crowded and noisy the guide needs a mike with headphones for the guests.

Nos gusto muchísimo la zona del guardarropa, zona para niños y la visita para ellos con juegos y búsqueda de objetos. Para mejorar pòndría más baños y los precios algo más asequibles para poder tomarte algo allí. Pero en general nuestra experiencia fue bastante buena

Alex our guide was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable about the museum, engaging and made sure we were orientated for wandering around once he'd left us. Well worth the money to avoid queues and get the 45 min mini tour.

Enjoy ever-changing exhibitions

The British Museum always has something cool going on with its rotating exhibitions. Ancient India: Living Traditions (May 22, 2025–October 19, 2025) showcases 180 objects, including sculptures, paintings, and manuscripts that look at early devotional art in India and its origins. Then there’s Mumbai + London: New Perspectives on the Ancient World (April 24, 2025–January 11, 2026), which examines three rarely-seen-together sculptures from Egypt, India, and Rome. These exhibitions give you a glimpse into the world’s rich stories, all in one place.
