Sydney Opera House Tours

Four opera singers and a woman on the piano maked this afternoon an exclusive event. We saw and heard any popular Aries in Italian, like Figaro, from the best voices I know. And this in the popularise building of Sydney, The Opera. Great, unforgettable!

It was my first time at the opera and that was amazing. I really liked that the singers present themselves and explained what were their character for. The stage and the opera itself are also architecturally speaking a piece of art. To discover the opera, the mix of different famous opera was the perfect choice !!!

The atmosphere was great, the performances all round (especially by Guanqun Yu and Samuel Dundas) were fantastic; superb quality as befits such an exceptional building.

Tim was an excellent tour guide, informative, catered for all ages. The walking tour was fantastic. The story of the Opera House is so interesting and Tim told it so well.

Some evenings just stay with you, and my night at Carmen in the Sydney Opera House was exactly that. Walking up to the Opera House never loses its magic. The sails lit against the harbour already set the mood, and the staff inside made the whole process welcoming and easy. And then came the music. The singer playing Carmen was magnetic—fiery, confident, impossible to look away from. Her chemistry with Don José kept the drama alive, and the orchestra wrapped everything in a wave of emotion. The famous “Habanera” sent chills through the hall, and by the tragic ending, I felt completely drawn in. What struck me most was how human the story felt—bold staging, passionate voices, and music that just lingers. With the ease of booking, the beauty of the venue, and a performance this powerful, it’s a night I’ll always treasure.

Gorgeous building inside and out! Very friendly, personable and knowledgeable staff, making orientation inside easy. The Joan Sutherland Hall has fantastic sightlines and excellent acoustics and the seats were roomy and comfortable (for concert hall seats). But the ultimate highlight were, of course, the performers. Lovely, yet powerful voices! Mimi was a delight. No visit to Sydney is complete without a tour or performance in this spectacular building. A drink at the opera bar rounded out this unforgettable experience.

It was a lovely afternoon. Enjoyable performance in an outstanding environment. Definetly worth to experince an opera show at spectacular Sydney Opera House.

This performance was flawless - quality performers, sets, costumes, orchestra. It was an unforgettable event. Highly recommend an opera house tour earlier in the day to get fuller appreciation of the venue.
