Begin your visit at the Main Concourse entrance of Grand Central Terminal. After a seamless security check, step into SUMMIT One Vanderbilt and prepare to explore multiple levels of art, architecture, and city views.

Ascend to the top of One Vanderbilt and discover a multi-sensory world of mirrored installations, sky-high glass ledges, and Yayoi Kusama’s Clouds. Sip a signature cocktail or mocktail at Après cafe while soaking in breathtaking 360° vistas of Manhattan.

Immersive art installations: Explore Air by Kenzo Digital, Transcendence, and Clouds by Yayoi Kusama, where mirrors and reflections transform the skyline.

Levitation glass floors: Step onto transparent skyboxes over 1,100 feet above the streets for thrilling city views.

Signature cocktail experience: Enjoy a crafted cocktail or mocktail at Après cafe while taking in the panorama.

Panoramic NYC views: Capture unforgettable photos from multiple observation points and mirrored spaces.

What to bring

Sunglasses to manage reflections from mirrored and glass surfaces.

Wear comfortable clothing such as pants, shorts, or tights to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, backpacks, or luggage are not permitted (no storage is available; all bags are subject to security checks).

Professional photography equipment (only personal, handheld devices allowed).

Stiletto heels, steel-toe boots, sports cleats, or any footwear that may damage flooring.

Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed.

Accessibility

All levels of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt are fully wheelchair accessible; limited wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Foldable or collapsible strollers and carriages are allowed.

Audiovisual components may be stimulating; earplugs and sunglasses are available on request. Requests for sighted guides or ASL interpreters must be submitted at least three weeks prior via the web form.

Service animals are welcome; caution is advised on mirrored or glass floors.

Additional information

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Entry begins at the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal.

Reflective materials make the space bright during the day.
