Christine war eine super Reiseführerin und hat sehr viele Informationen weiter gegeben. Die Fahrt durch die Stadt war super, alles lief reibungslos und pünktlich trotzdem Feierabendverkehrs. Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und auch die Organisation im voraus war sehr gut.

Одне з тих місць, які наживо вражають набагато більше, ніж на фотографіях ❤️ Базиліка Святого Стефана - неймовірно красива. Зовні вона велична, але коли заходиш всередину, просто не знаєш, куди дивитися спочатку. Стільки деталей, золота, мармуру, розписів і мозаїк - усе виглядає дуже дорого й водночас по-справжньому атмосферно. Особливо сподобалося відчуття всередині - там якось дуже спокійно і велично одночасно. А якщо піднятися на оглядовий майданчик, відкривається шикарний вид на Будапешт 😍 Однозначно місце, яке варто побачити, якщо будете в Будапешті. Навіть якщо ви не дуже цікавитеся церквами чи архітектурою - ця точно залишить враження. ✨

Discover Budapest’s iconic church

Located in the heart of the Pest side of the River Danube, St. Stephen’s Basilica is Budapest’s largest Roman Catholic church and place of worship. Soak in the grandeur of its interiors and neoclassical architecture, and explore the treasury and the awe-inspiring dome. Marvel at the church’s most revered religious artifact – the mummified right hand of King St. Stephen I, Hungary’s first king, who introduced Christianity to the kingdom in the 11th century. After getting your fill of the church, use the elevator or climb the 300+ stairs to the Panoramic Terrace. The scenic vistas of the city are worth the effort!

The church may stay closed for short durations (30 minutes to 1 hour) on Saturdays when it hosts wedding ceremonies.
