The Danube cruise went according to plan, the travel conditions were excellent, the drinks served were good and the free tour on Margaret Island was pleasant and comforting. Both boats I traveled on had very comfortable seats, visibility was very good, the staff on the boat were very polite and supportive, and the translations in the headphones were in many more languages than you can find on a touristic bus, for example. I would also like to appreciate the quality of the descriptions presented by the guide who accompanied us during the free 45-minute walking tour of the island, as well as the cheerful and lively atmosphere maintained by her. In conclusion, I highly recommend this trip to other tourists who will spend a city break in Budapest.

Crociera rilassante, battello ben gestito. Ottima accoglienza. Un'esperienza da fare. Mentre il battello ci cullava muovendosi lentamente sul Danubio, l' audioguida ci faceva immergere nella scoperta del panorama e della storia, e noi sorseggiavamo il nostro drink.

The cruise itself was perfect, the crew took care for refilling the glasses constantly. Negative was, that the crew expected a QR Code on the ticket, where we had vouchers only. Nevertheless, they took a picture of the voucher and all was good. Getting the correct ticket from headcount with a QR code would be troublefree.

Absolutely amazing experience! The Budapest Danube cruise was one of the highlights of my trip. The views of landmarks like Parliament, Buda Castle, and the Chain Bridge were breathtaking, especially when illuminated at night. The atmosphere on board was relaxing and well-organized, with friendly and professional staff. The welcome drink added a nice touch, and the overall experience felt both luxurious and peaceful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest!

What to bring

Wear warm clothing during winter, and bring a light jacket for cooler evenings in summer.
