Our guide Anna was very accommodating. My parents were running late as there is just so much walking in Rome, they were a bit tired. Anyway they made it and the tour began. Anna was very knowledgeable about St Peter’s Basilica born from a genuine passion she has for the place. The tour was therefore very informative and highlighted loads of different aspects that only a guided tour could. She delivered just enough information to keep your interest whilst trying to show as much as possible during the tour. It was a perfect balance. St Peter’s Basilica was just incredible and it would be somewhere I would revisit when I return. Thank you Anna for making it one of the best tours, David enjoyed the humour as well.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our tour of St. Peter’s Basilica and the Papal Tombs. Our guide, Romina, was incredible—extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Because our group was so small, she took the time to answer all of our questions and explain every detail with such care. We also feel incredibly fortunate that we were able to go through the Holy Door during this tour. It was a very special moment for our family. My wife and I have done this tour once before, and this experience with Romina was far more in-depth and meaningful than our previous one. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Romina!

Merveilleuse visite !! Qui rattrape la logistique douteuse. J'avais réservé la visite du dôme mais cela n'a pas été pris en compte via l'application Headout. On a dû refaire la queue pour acheter 2 billets à 15€. Il n'y avait pas d'attente alors ça va mais faites attention pour c'était inscrit dans la réservation visite du dôme selon l'option choisie et j'avais payé 54€ pour 2. Les organisateurs ont essayé d'annuler la visite la veille. Merci à notre super guide pour toutes les infos

Our guide Valeri, was fantastic. Dressed smartly, and carried himself wih the grace and charm of the refined French gentleman that he is. And so knowledgeable of not only the art in the basilica, but last the symbolism behind each piece. I've been to St Peter's twice before, but only toured on my own. The guided tour with Valeri took the experience to another level altogether.

Strict dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered for all guests.

Mobile phones must remain on silent mode inside the Basilica.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. The right semicircle of Saint Peter’s Square is equipped with ramp access into the Basilica. For any special requirements, contact accoglienza@fsp.va in advance.

Sign language guided tours are available at the Basilica. This service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance at the following email address: visiteguidate@fsp.va.
