On our recent trip to London we wanted to see the city from above but didn't want to deal with the crowds or cost of The Shard. We found that you can enter the Sky Garden before everyone else AND get coffee and a pastry included. Entry was very easy - you check in downstairs and take the elevator up to the 35th floor. From there you are free to wander around and enjoy the scenery for 2 hours. The Sky Garden had a nice selection of coffee drinks to choose from and a small assortment of pastries (I got the chocolate croissant). Plenty of seating available and the restrooms were easy to find. Definitely check this out if you want an aerial view of London.

I loved the Sky Garden! It was my first stop off, on my first trip to London! It was fabulous and gave me a clear orientation of the landmarks of your beautiful city. The staff were professional and helpful. The garden was an added bonus making for a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Stunning venue and enjoyed visit however they know how many tickets are booked yet only 2 people serving drinks with a slow coffee machine so the queue took up a lot of the time we had to enjoy the surroundings

Getting started

Arrive at the Sky Garden entrance with your early access ticket and proceed through the security check. Scan the QR code on your voucher to download the Sky Garden digital audio guide in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian using the venue Wi-Fi. After security, an elevator takes you up to the Sky Garden level, where your visit begins.

What to expect

Set 155 meters above London, Sky Garden is an indoor viewing space wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass, with landscaped greenery and open areas to wander. From here, you can look out across the Thames and spot landmarks such as the Shard and the Tower of London while you explore at your own pace.
