This is our 2nd visit to Singapore Zoo last was in 2014 and it's more amazing them before, grounds are so well managed, zoo is easy to get around and anaimals habitats replicate the conditions of there outside environments. Highly recommended

My visit to the Night safari was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure and wonder. As I explored a wide variety of animals in habitats designed to resemble their natural environments. The highlight of the trip was the walking trails at night stopping at the viewing stations to observe the wild creatures. Where nocturnal animals roam. A bit disappointed that we didn't get to see the lions .

I had a great time at the Singapore Zoo. I saw lions and tigers and bears. I watched the monkeys getting fed and saw a gigantic Arapaima jump out of the water to snatch his snack. The panda seemed a bit lonely but was just lazing on the grass.

The train through the reserve was spectacular, all the animals were visible. The trails were easy to follow and full of useful information. Would highly recommend.

Had an amazing day at Singapore Zoo! The variety of animals and birds from around the world is truly incredible, and the beautifully maintained enclosures make the experience even more enjoyable. The tram ride was such a fun and convenient way to explore the zoo, especially with kids. We were also impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was. From local favourites to international bites, there were plenty of food options to choose from. A special mention to the warm and helpful staff who made our visit smooth and memorable. And thanks to HeadOut for making the booking process seemless! Definitely one of the best family attractions in Singapore!

A free shuttle links the parks, so you can move between them with ease. Enjoy a full-day wildlife journey—start with the vibrant habitats of Singapore Zoo and end with the mysterious after-dark world of Night Safari. It’s two unforgettable experiences in one seamless trip.

What to expect

Singapore Zoo

Step into one of the world’s most celebrated rainforest zoos, home to 4,200 animals across lush, open habitats.

Watch orangutans swing freely through the treetops.

Meet white tigers, giraffes, and rare pygmy hippos up close.

Hop on the guided tram for a comfortable, narrated tour around the park.

Explore themed zones like Wild Africa, Australasia, and Fragile Forest.

Night Safari

When the sun sets, continue your adventure at the world’s first nocturnal zoo, with over 900 animals from 100+ species.

Board the tram for unlimited rides through six wildlife zones, with live commentary.

Stroll along walking trails like Leopard Trail and Fishing Cat Trail for closer encounters.

Don’t miss the Creatures of the Night show, a fun and interactive animal presentation.

Spot rare nocturnal species such as Malayan tapirs, clouded leopards, and Asian elephants.

What to bring

Light clothes, comfy shoes, sunscreen, cap, mosquito repellent, and a poncho or umbrella.

Bring a reusable water bottle – refill stations are available.

Arrive early on weekdays or visit in the late afternoon.

Arrive 10–15 mins early: Seats fill up fast, especially for Splash Safari. Grab a good spot without the rush.

What's not allowed

There are prohibited areas in the zoo. Do not venture into these zones for your own safety.

Do not feed or tease the animals living in the zoo.

Stay seated the whole duration of the tram ride.

Feel free to take photos for personal use. Flash photography is not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed inside the zoo. You will find a designated smoking point outside the entrance.

Pets and plants are not allowed inside.

Skate scooters, inline skates, rollerblades, tricycles and pull trolleys are not permitted inside.

Turn off flash photography for animals’ comfort.

Accessibility

Ticketing machines (TM), nursing & diaper changing rooms, lost and found, free wifi, stoller, wheelchair access, lockers, prayer rooms, rain gears, first-aid stations, luggage storage are available at the venue.
