Our guide, Susanne I believe was a fountain of information. She was clear, not in a hurry and extremely friendly. Unless you are a Catholic historian or an expert in Spanish/ Moorish history you cannot understand the history of the cathedral or its place in Sevilla through the centuries. I learned an incredible amount and it was completely entertaining. Well done!

Really enjoyed the tour, the guide Susana was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. The Cathedral and the tower are impressive (the tower doesn have steps but ramps going up which makes it a bit easier to climb). Being able to skip the queue was a big plus.

Gostei muito do Tour à Catedral de Sevilha. Fomos acompanhados pela Guia Laura que foi uma simpatia e nos transmitiu toda a informação que nos deixou bastante satisfeitos. Aconselho a guia Laura para acompanhar nas visitas em sevilha.

The whole guided trip to "Seville Cathedral and La Giralda" was organized and easy to keep up with from beginning to end. Getting to the location where I will meet the tour guide and other tourists within the group was easy. They began by distributing an ear piece that we wear to be able to hear the tour guide better when he's walking and explaining. Our tour guide began the tour on time and began explaining the history of the two sites we were about to reach from the beginning of the walk all the way until the end of the trip. He explained the most important things within the Seville Cathedral and the La Giralda. It was interactive too as he asked us questions to get our opinions on some facts he said. The only note was that his Spanish accent kind of came through when he's explaining in English and so it was a bit hard to understand what he was saying.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID or passport for all participants, as full names and ID details are required for entry.

Wear comfortable shoes, as the tour involves walking and climbing the La Giralda.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, backpacks, and suitcases are not allowed inside the premises for security reasons.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Wearing clothes that expose your knees or shoulders, or wearing hats inside the cathedral, is prohibited.

Professional photography equipment, tripods, and selfie sticks are prohibited.

Accessibility

The Seville Cathedral is largely wheelchair accessible, except for the La Giralda.

The cathedral also offers a free wheelchair service for those with limited mobility.

Those with visual impairments can use the Braille brochures to guide them through their visit.

There’s a free sign guide service for visitors with hearing impairments.

The Permanent Exhibition area and the Patio de los Naranjos also have baby changing tables.

Service animals are allowed at the cathedral, subject to presenting relevant official documentation.

Additional information

The climb up to the La Giralda is not recommended for individuals with vertigo, claustrophobia, or respiratory ailments.

The experience is suitable for all ages, including infants and seniors.

Children under the age of 14 must always be accompanied by an adult.

Groups of more than 10 people will be provided with headphones to avoid disturbing the other guests.

If you choose a small group guided tour, your group will include no more thn 15 people.
