Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Amsterdam has the most remarkable collection of oddities from around the world. Meet here the people who made it to the Guinness Book of World Records and listen to tales of how curio-collector Robert Ripley collected rare pieces of art from around the world. Check out wacky objects like a 7-meter-tall robot made out of car parts, a Bugatti carved out of wood or real shrunken heads from the Amazon. You might even find yourself face-to-face with the ‘Lizard Man,’ who underwent body modification to make himself look like a real lizard. Bring your imagination to life with themed rooms that show you how Amsterdam would look underwater. While you’re at it, take the opportunity to learn more about Dutch culture by entering a replica of a traditional windmill or crawling into a piece of cheese!
