Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour with Secured Tickets, Train & Boat Ride

Angefangen bei den Parkmöglichkeiten bis hin zum Eintritt war alles sehr unkompliziert. Ich hatte die Tickets vorab online gekauft und sie wurden am Eingang einfach abgescannt und schon konnte es losgehen. Der Parkplatz war günstig. Der Nationalpark war sehr schön und es war alles sehr gut erreichbar. Es gab 3 Busstationen und 3 Boatstationen. Mit denen man auch schnell mal auf die andere Seite des Parks konnte. Wir waren ca. 4 Stunden da und sind am Anfang direkt mit dem ersten Bus zur Busstation 2 und von dort direkt zur Bustation 3 gefahren. Von da an ging es zu Fuß weiter. Es ist alles sehr gut ausgeschildert und gut begehbar. Als Deutsche ist es erst etwas ungewohnt für uns gewesen, dass die Wege kaum mit Geländern gesichert sind. Aber wenn man keine Höhenangst hat und aufpasst wo man hinläuft, ist das auch kein Problem. Das Erlebnis ist dadurch viel intensiver da man sich wirklich wie in der freien Natur fühlt. Wir besuchten die Aussichtsplattform die für ungeübte Wanderer wie uns etwas anstrengender zu erreichen war, da sie wirklich sehr weit oben auf einem Berg war. Aber der Aufwand hat sich 100% gelohnt. Die Aussicht war Atemberaubend. Man konnte 4 oder 5 der insgesamt 8 Seen von dort aus bewundern. Ich kann den Park wirklich nur jedem empfehlen der Spaß an der Natur hat. Es gibt Berge, Seen, Bäche, Wasserfälle und einen riesiegen Wald zu sehen und zu über- bzw. durchqueren. Wenn man ganz viel Glück hat sieht man sicherlich auch ein paar kleinere Wildtiere wie Eidechsen, Fische oder Vögel und das sind nur die, die wir gesehen haben. Wir hatten uns Verpflegung mitgenommen deswegen kann ich das Essen dort nicht beurteilen aber es gab zumindest an jeder Busstation auch ein kleines Restaurant. Für mich war es sehr schön und wenn ich nochmal in Kroatien sein sollte würde ich es definitiv nochmal machen.

We booked an early entry time of 8am and then discovered that breakfast at our accommodation wasn't until 7.30am. We were concerned that we couldn't do both! But you get up to an hour from your scheduled entry time so all worked out well! The car park is a 5 minute walk away and you pay on exit. The charge is 1.50€ per hour. We stayed seven hours so paid 10.50€. The park is beautiful and easy to get around with lots of boardwalks to follow. We enjoyed the leisurely boat ride and were grateful for the train ride back, although it is more like a bus than a train! There is plenty to see with four trails to choose from, graded according to length and difficulty. It is well sign posted but despite that, we kept losing the trail we'd chosen. In the end we decided to just relax and enjoy what was in front of us! I was expecting spectacular waterfalls. You don't get that. There are lots of small waterfalls, lakes and trees. It was still a great day out enjoying nature and the open air. Well worth it!

As a couple visiting 28 Sept found the park beautiful, well kept and plenty of rest / toilet/ eating stations, Transport in the park well organised, Bus,train, boats easy accessible and regular, there is a fair bit of uphill and downhill, wear comfortable footwear trainers etc , late Sept nice time to visit as less busy and a little cooler, although consequence of a hot summer less water in waterfalls, but still stunning , we did H trail which we found do able in the 4-5 hrs with stops and travel on bus & boat , we are not the fittest but found it comfortable and easy going, an absolute must do if in Croatia x

1. Very clean, neat and beautiful, not any garbage left in the park or in the lake. 2. Visitors numbers control is quite impressive, which guarantee the travel visiting quality 3. Very casual and nice weather, it's easy for visitors to experience. 4. Quite convenient in-park traffic tools to use, a bit tough to climb up to ST1 for bus access. But you still privide the boat for entrance 1 erea users 5. In general, it brings visitors very comfortable and enjoyable sightseeing touring, I definitely will consider to visit the park area again and introduce it to people I know.

The plitvic lakes were absolutely stunning. Tranquil and a wonderful place. Good paths all the way around. Facilities were also good. .the boat ride was a great addition to seeing the park from a.different angle . And the coach laid on was an extra touch at the end . Ti get us back to the entrance. Thus park has so much to offer . Facilities are good . The staff are helpful friendly and the souvenir shop was well stocked. A fantastic day out and worth every penny The website was easy to navigate and book tickets etc in the friendly uptodate app accessible on the day

Entered via the North Entrance (#1) and sadly only had enough time for the short 2-3 hour (A) route. Nonetheless, it was spectacular (using the U.S.' Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and Yosemite as benchmarks) leaving us hoping to return to cover the other 4-6 hours of areas. We also had a scrumptous lunch at Dengjia 15 minutes outside the park (having failed to 24 hours advance order at nearby Licka Luce for their special local featured items) of Peka roasted veal and lamb. Great Croatian wines too.
